    Something is rotten within our club. The players seem to have little respect for the Manager. I dont mind Kenny not criticising in public as long as he sorts it in private and i'm not sure that is happening as we keep on making the same mistakes. We are where we are and we will not get any higher without a major overhaul. FSG happy to show their faces at Wembley but quiet on Stadium and i dont think they will invest much in the Summer. We all love Kenny and he will always be a hero of mine for what he has done for this club and the city. I never wanted that tarnished, which i fear will now happen. The league has always been our "bread and butter " and whilst cup runs are nice, they were always icing on the cake. Given the league performances and also the teams we have been beaten by, i cant say that we have progressed. Whilst the answer is not the throw money at this long term, we will stay exactly where we are unless FSG invest

    Sorry if I wasn't clear. What I mean is - if FSG want us to be self sufficient now, we will finish 7th ish every year. At this point of the season, the table doesn't lie. However, if FSG want us to compete for the title, they need to invest to get us up to that level and once we are there generating prize money, sponsorship and attracting better players, we can then be left to our own devices to an extent and be tinkered with every year not the major surgery that has been needed for some time.

    This is something that is rarely remembered. Whilst our owners are not G & H, we should not kid ourselves that they are cuddly John and Tom who are here for our benefit or cos they love LFC FWIW, I dont think they have any intention of spending a lot of their own money and they are looking for us to be self sufficient. Whilst this is much more prefferable that what the last set of cunts were trying to do, we will not get back to where we need to be without major investment. Once we get back there, we can then look after ourselves to a greater degree, but not now.

    It's appropriate to investigate these things and LFC co-operated fully with the Police, but surely the press should be held to account for the frenzy they whipped up over an allegation. Everything they published, and individual comments at the time was taken as fact whilst LFC apologise to a player who was a crying little girl. Seem to remember a manc fan being CHARGED with racially abusing a Stoke player not long after which got about three lines tucked away somewhere. No press agenda against LFC eh ?

    And nothing makes us look weaker than apologising for something when we clearly have no belief that it was actually needed. Why, when Kenny has apologised for his behaviour in an interview does it need to be accepted by Man United? Kenny's Press Conferences will be mild from now on and the reporters will have no fear. Do you think Ferguson would have apologised if the roles were reversed?
