exactly. i've often said that to win the title, we'll probably have to have a season where we run it close and ultimately fail. but the important thing is that the manager and players look at the season and try and make next season better, by learning from our mistakes and shortcomings. Also, last summers transfers in were shockingly poor looking back, and the team wasnt really strengthened in any areas, plus we lost Torres and Gerrard for long parts of teh season. And for the fans, we have to learn too. the mad thing is there seemed to be more belief from the fans that we could win it after we threw away top spot than there was when we actually were top. the atmosphere at some of our games was so tense it actually got to the players. If Rafa cracks this league, and wins it once, whether this season or another season, i reckon once he wins it the once, there will be no stopping him. he'll win it relentlessly
