Insane that despite two rulings by the relevant High Court of Justice, that Tinpot Jim and his kangaroo court hold the future of LFC in their hands - despite being found to have NO jurisdiction by the high court that DOES have the jurisdiction to rule on the case. If the sale to NESV doesn't go through - for a variety of possible reasons - then you could argue that Kangaroo Jim, along with our wonderful 'custodians', has played a massive role in bringing down the institution that is Liverpool Football Club. I should be astonished that he issued that TRO yesterday, and even more astonished at the delaying tactics today, but I'm not. It's almost exactly what a lot of people expected and feared.

If there's a way he can sidestep the board (which I'm not convinced there is), then I still fear this Mills lot. Shady operation at best, manouvering in the background. Positive though (I think a positive?) is given what we've heard from NESV - we own the club etc., if worst comes to worst, they actually sound like they'll push through the sale anyway, regardless of what the tinpot judge has to say on the matter.

The bit I'm unsure on when is when it comes to Hicks and refinancing. Doesn't his refinancing package still have to be approved at board level? I just can't see how he can just stroll in and pay off the debt with some more borrowed money without board approval - but then again, I'm not sure.

In basic terms, Justice Floyd told Hicks to turf the injunction he filed in Texas by 4pm tomorrow - or face the consequences - which could be jail time. Now while I doubt he'll ever be brought to face the charges even if he is found to be in contempt of court, he'll certainly never set foot on UK soil again. We're nearly there, the problem is that Jim Jordan has given Hicks a whole lot of time to pull a rabbit out of what seems to be a rather extensive and shameless hat. Whether he's done this intentionally or not is arguably up for debate I suppose. I would hope not, but I don't trust the Texas legal system as far as I can throw it. I think we're still good, but I expect one more desperate act from this crazed psycho. The bloke should be locked away in the looney bin.

Was announced this week that his company Telmex have entered into a partnership with Sauber, with Mexican rookie Sergio Perez getting a 2011 drive. So I dare say there's more to come on that front in terms of his involvement there.

A West Ham supporting mate of mine says we've been in touch with them recently regarding Carlton Cole. Apparently tried to hack Babel off over there in a straight swap, which got rejected out of hand, then came back with a 7m + 6m in clauses offer - which I'm not sure on the resolution yet. Not sure how legitimate it is, but he's a player I like, and he's developed pretty well at West Ham over recent years.
