Because he was pretty much surrounded by dross we didn't really do him justice trophy wise. In his shoes I would have been highly pissed off when there was all the "if you're good enough, you're old enough" stuff around Michael Owen getting a nod for England.
I always thought Owen would win more in the game as he is less of a natural talent than Fowler, and would therefore work harder at what he had rather than being a born finisher. Funny enough, the only trophies they've won thay won together. MO has a charity shield more and that's it. Although he did win the FA cup for us on his own, and could have had a hat trick if Robbie had put him through. Shows what I know.
I refuse to put Torres in anywhere as it's unfair. He could turn out to be as good as anyone we have ever had. It's a bit like watching Ian Rush, except he can head a ball and can shoot from distance. Torres has by far and away the best song.
