  1. This is London- and the North west for comparison, over a month longer time frame, as it restarted earlier there-
  2. I think Lombardy's been hit pretty hard again- over 8500 cases yesterday (about 1/3 of the total cases in Italy as a whole), and well over 80K since the middle of October. New York has a death rate over 2.5 times the UK, and despite still being partially locked down, is running over 2000 cases a day, about double the rate at the end of September. Dunno about Stockholm.
  3. It seems the 'plan', such as it is, is to go off early figures and try and claim he's won before the counts are finished. The Republican vote apparently mostly happens on the election day, whereas Democrats are more likely to vote by mail than Republicans, and the mail ballots mostly won't get counted until the next day/ week. The problem for him is not only that it's a load of bollocks and he can't just claim victory and everything will stop then and there, but there have already been getting on for 100 million early votes as well, so it's highly doubtful he'll appear to be ahead in any of the swing states he needs. The most likely effect is going to be getting his dickhead supporters riled up than actually being able to steal the election.
  4. I was amazed that that got panned, I thought it was slyly hilarious.
  5. Were did this stuff that kids don't spread the virus come from in the first place? Was it just something pulled out of someone's arse to justify opening schools without putting any resources into even trying to make them safe?
  6. C'mon now, Salford City and Fleetwood Town are top, top sides.
  7. Lucky? He surely can't be an Everton fan, otherwise he'd be aware of all the injuries we've had. Although I guess he is, and they don't count for some reason.
  8. Maybe a Mac/ iOS thing (think you use Apple stuff, don't you?). It's there on my PC and Android phone. Anyway, no biggie.
  9. Works for me- are you clicking on the vertical ellipsis thing I highlighted in yellow in the screenshot?
  10. Click on the button highlighted below, download it (or right-click and choose Save as), and then attach it to your WhatsApp message-
  11. So they've had their best start to a PL season, won plaudits in the press, been cited as dark horses to win the league and we've had a patchy one with the biggest defeat in 50-odd years, injuries all over the place and a load of ridiculous VAR decisions. And we're 3 points ahead of them and top of the league. No wonder the poor cunts are so paranoid all the time...
  12. How have they managed that? We're not going to be guinea pigs are we?
  13. It won't be as strict as the first one (which had loads of exceptions anyway), and that took a few months even with schools and universities closed.
  14. Interesting. I have RA myself, but don't take the baricitinib drug cited in the write up. https://www.theguardian.com/science/2020/nov/01/covids-effect-on-health-blamed-on-tiny-genetic-variations
  15. Haha, is he complete shite as well? Obviously, if I was a blue, I'd know all the ins and outs of our reserve 'keepers, but I've honestly never heard of him.
  16. Pickford dropped. Shit, massive boost for Everton.
  17. Not a chance. If they'd locked down in the middle of September when SAGE advised them to, and taken notice of the rapidly rising figures in France back then, we might have been able to push any second wave into early next year. As usual they fucked around with that bullshit tier system that their own scientists said wasn't enough, and decided to pick fights with Northern councils over money. Track and trace wasn't even working well with the relatively small amounts of infections then, it's got absolutely no chance now.
  18. Oh definitely, their initial actions were reprehensible- it kind of reminded me of the local party response in Chernobyl, denying there was any issue out of fear, blind loyalty and typical secrecy and making things much worse.
  19. I think whatever China had done, we'd still have had our government being complacent and not responding to what was happening on the continent, especially Italy for the first wave and France for the second. We had plenty of warning on both occasions as to what was coming and they just didn't take decisive action.
  20. Same, and I was hoarse for a week after, amazing night. I went to my seat in the Kop about an hour before kick off as I was really tense, and it was incredible how many people were already in place- things just built and built from there.
