We have not signed up to this. I repeat that it would be a sign of weakness to do nothing. That is common sense. This is classic FIFA punishing all the kids in the class because of the actions of one. That approach doesnt work at that level, it doesnt work here and I am disappointed if we smile meekly and take this as read as what is going to happen. It would be wholly unacceptable and unbecoming of our great club.

The Chelsea game fucked me off for a week; there was respite with Athleti kicking the chavs out of the Champions league. The Palace game didnt really effect so much because I had accepted in my head that the prize had gone. The whole thing this week just seems so much harder to swallow. Its just over 48 hours, so I am still taking peoples heads off for it. I wish I was able to distance myself away from the game and not let it continue to grate, but I know I am not strong enough to do so.

I would go with that. Its probably for the best Uruguay go out. But if they stayed in, that would fuck FIFA off.

I get this. Its the way football 'exhausts' you. There has been a few times I have felt like that, most recently being the last week of the season. I have that same feeling now, although this has been borne out of the being screwed over by FIFA saga with Suarez rather than actual football. I was looking forward to the World Cup and enjoyed the first couple of weeks. I could ignore the analysis by the Toby Jug faced cunt and the panel of experts. Brazil being dumped out today would have seen FIFA's little corrupt showcase foiled, and I would support anything that bought that about.
