nothing has changed re: GG & TH - they still want out for the right price IMHO if anything the markets will be healthier than the were 6 months ago after xmas - the refinancing problem will not be a problem unless something major happens i just wish that the Sheikh would put his money where he mouth is and run these 2 pr!cks out of dodge having said the above re: the markets i still do not think that GG & Th will get extra finance to build the stadium without offering up some more capital - capital that they can't get there hands on without selling a chunk of their investment in another project....

D.K is too slow to be an effective outlet on the right - lately he has been employed down the middle and has seen some decent return but with Torres coming back who should be dropped? IMHO Alonso & Kuyt - to kick on we need pace and width - Rafa is playing it safe having D.K in the team and safe will not win you the premier league Babel is a confidence player and still v.young - lets not forget that - Rafa limiting him to bit parts here and there isn't going to develop the kid into a better football player why he started Yossi ahead of Babel on Sat i don't know - and i do find it very frustrating cos we have no real pace in the side bar Torres so Babel needs to be given a chance you could argue that cos we are doing alright at the minute why should we mess up a good system - and fair enough Rafa probably thinks this too - for me though i have in my mind the best attacking 6 and i want to see these fellas given a proper run of games together: Reira Babel Masch Gerrard Keane Torres we need pace - pace and directness can kill the opposition and we should play it quick 1 touch 2 touch football - nice and quick - pass and move D.K is just a less talented version of Robbie Keane IMHO and should be dropped cos ultimately i see no place for him in our best starting XI

recent goals or no recent goals i sincerely hope that we will be seeing more of Ryan Babel and less of Dirk Kuyt in the immediate future i seriously believe that we can step up another gear - but to do so we need pace in attack - not D.K a gifted right back for xams would also be very much welcomed - although Arbeloa is very consistent atm we need to improve - also if Aurelio is the no.1 left back then we need to sell Dossena and buy better width and pace - that is how you win games in the prem - anyone who saw the Arse vs Manc game will testify to this there is still so much more to come from this team - but only with some minor imorovements

it's certainly not Keane is it and it's only D.K cos he's starting every game - who's to say Babel wouldn't be scoring if he was given a proper run out? none of you rate Babel over Kuyt then then?

i hate - okay hate is too strong a word... i am totally indifferent to - Dirk Kuyt with a passion - and it pains me to see Babel on the bench behind the lumbering Dutch 'striker' Babel's development is being hindered by not starting every week - he should be in and Kuyt out - while i apprciate Dirk's overall contruibutions for the team's cause - he is just not at the level required IMHO the worst thing that could happen is bring Torres back and continue with Dirk on the right imo - it's never gonna happen though cos rafa loves Dirk too much re: Alonso - we shouldn't need to have 3 centre mid's starting - but if Rafa wants all 3 starting then drop Keane i suppose and go with Reira left and Babel right and Torres down the middle still don't know why we bought Keane imo as trying to accomodate him unbalances the team

hopefully Torres will be back for Saturday - question is who will Rafa drop? IMHO we should play Babel, Reira, Keane and Torres as our front 4 with Gerrard and Masch in the middle for most games i am fed up with being a 'negative' team - especially after Saturday's result

its a bit of a non-starter this imo as whoever owns him will want stupid money now also the only strike partner for Torres that i want to see at Anfield is David Villa

as long as Dirk Kunt is starting every game i am all out off faith where are Babel and Keane?!!??!!? it makes absolutely no sense to drop Keane for this game - especially for Alonso - we don't need Alonso and Masch playing in the same side any more come on Rafa wake up - you're back to your tinkering best again and it's to the detriment of the team!
