  7. Barcelona are prepared to sell forward Ousmane Dembele, sensational reports claim. Dembele, 21, has struggled to make an impact since his £135million arrival from Borussia Dortmund, netting four goals in 24 appearances. As a result, Spanish website Don Balon claim Barcelona executives are ready to part ways with the France international. And they've already offered him to a number of European heavyweights including Liverpool. However, the report continues to say that none are interested in paying mega-money for the 21-year-old. It’s said that Liverpool would only sign Dembele if they sold Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah, and Jurgen Klopp has no interest in allowing that to happen. Liverpool Transfer News: The Reds are second-favourites to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha Liverpool Transfer News: The Reds are second-favourites to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha Wilfried Zaha odds Liverpool are narrowly behind Manchester City in the battle to sign Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha, according to the bookies. Zaha’s stock continues to rise after another impressive Premier League campaign that saw him score nine goals with a further five assist to boot despite missing nine games through injury. “Wilfried Zaha’s impressive season for Crystal Palace is set to spark a bidding war for the winger’s signature, with Manchester City the market favourites to land the 25-year-old,” BetStars director of trading Ian Marmion said. “The Citizens are priced at 5/2 to get their man, however Champions League finalists Liverpool have also joined the race to sign the Ivorian international. Zaha would add competition to an already fully firing Reds frontline and the Palace favourite can be found at 7/2 to make the move to Merseyside. “Tottenham are next up at 4/1, whilst Chelsea are valued at 6/1 to sign the former Manchester United man.” Manager Jurgen Klopp was in good spirits as the Reds trained at Anfield ahead of the clash with Real Madrid -- Van Dijk has the date and location of the final stitched into his Nike Tiempo boots -- AC Milan have slashed their asking price for Liverpool target Gianluigi Donnarumma. Milan had been requesting around £61million for Donnarumma earlier in the year, but Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim the San Siro club have reduced that valuation. According to the report, AC Milan are now willing to sell for just £35m. The reason for the drop is Milan’s desperate need to raise funds following a disappointing season in Serie A. Their Chinese owners pumped £150m in the transfer funds last summer but Milan still sixth in Serie A. Failure to qualify for the Champions League next season means the club may have to sell some of their top stars to meet Financial Fair Play obligations. And that means Donnarumma could be on his way. Corriere dello Sport claim Liverpool are ready to launch their initial offer for Donnarumma this month. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/964134/Liverpool-Transfer-News-Live-Updates-Jurgen-Klopp-Ousmane-Dembele-Champions-League-Latest
  8. Paris Saint-Germain have blown Liverpool out of the water in the race for Gianluigi Buffon by offering him a four-year deal. The goalkeeper is set to leave Juventus this summer and clubs are interested in snapping the Italian up. Liverpool are one of those looking at the 40-year-old as they are attracted to his experience and the fact he is available for free. But, according to La Repubblica, PSG have trumped them in the race for Buffon by offering him a four-year contract. That would mean the goalkeeper could carry on playing until he is 44 if he saw out that deal in Paris. Liverpool simply cannot compete with those terms and now a move to PSG for Buffon is edging closer. The Italian legend played his final game for Juventus over the weekend, lifting the Scudetto in the process. Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is now in negotiations with Emery and the 46-year-old Spaniard is now expected to be unveiled in the next 48 hours. It is an incredible blow for Arteta - who is on Pep Guardiola’s coaching staff at Manchester City - as he is believed to have interviewed well and discussed a contract.
