  1. I don't want to underestimate Jose. Did it before and got burned. Hopefully our players will be fired up for this.
  2. Klopp seemed to praise him after the game. But I can't think of anything else that might throw Maureen off his guard. I doubt we will play with three at the back (plus wing-backs) because we simply dont have 3 CBs for it. If we play our standard 4-3-3 formation, we may be playing into his hands as he is more than capable of preparing his team for any one off game. Plus I'm not sure we will risk playing one of the youngsters (Curtis or Perdo) over Mini either. Mini right now is an unknown factor that could be best utilized as an element of surprise in this game. This could end being a cracking game with end-to-end action.
  3. A surprise formation from Kopp then perhaps? A 4-2-3-1 with Mini supporting the front three with Lallana or Ox alongside Henderson in the middle.
  4. Cant shake the feeling that Maureen will have something in store for us. Their confidence is shot but he will have something planned for us.
  5. Solid player, there is talent there for sure but he never gets a full run in the team. There is a also a natural link-up with Salah that I would like to see more of, if his legs weren't so fragile. His close control is astonishingly good.
  6. Will be watching the game, if anything to watch Pep blow up when he sees a back pass. Couldn't care less if either win or lose. Will be happy if anyone throws a punch but i can't see anyone with that kind of temperament.
  7. But isn't Nike>NB? I know Nike has a bigger reach but does it have the design quality over NB?
  8. What are the ball numbers? 1 Leicester City 2 Queens Park Rangers 3 Fulham 4 Chelsea 5 Wolverhampton Wanderers or Manchester United 6 West Bromwich Albion 7 Rochdale or Newcastle United 8 Cardiff City or Carlisle United 9 Oxford United 10 Sheffield United 11 Southampton 12 Liverpool 13 Bristol City or Shrewsbury Town 14 AFC Bournemouth 15 Sheffield Wednesday 16 Bristol Rovers or Coventry City 17 Barnsley 18 Manchester City 19 Middlesbrough or Tottenham Hotspur 20 Reading or Blackpool 21 Watford or Tranmere Rovers 22 Norwich City 23 Millwall 24 Derby County 25 Hull City 26 Brentford 27 Portsmouth 28 Arsenal or Leeds United 29 West Ham United 30 Northampton Town 31 Burnley 32 Birmingham City
  9. On the game, it's interesting to hear some pundits how we rode our luck in the first half when they couldn't convert their chances. Yeah sure they had 3 chances which they should of converted but didn't. Our young side were definitely the better football side overall on the night albeit with limited chances. Should Everton be ashamed? Of course. Their performance during the second half was dire, perhaps they are suffering from a lack of identity, hunger, desire but I did in all honesty felt sorry for them. They have a lot rebuilding to do. On the plus side our team was exceptional and I am truly loving how these players are developing. Neco Williams, Curtis Jones, Pedro Chirivella but to name a few, their temerity was fantastic, especially after scoring the first goal. Its especially heartening to see them play the same way as the first team. Hopefully they will be ready if needed to play in a league game or two.
  10. Origy looks comfortable on the left and has a great crossing delivery. Just wish we could see it more often. Never thought of him as a winger but he fulfills most of the requirements and is willing to track back to defend. Perhaps Takumi will be used more as a false 9 role but it will be interesting to see how his link up play develops.
  11. Why? You worried we might drop points against Sheffield and Spurs?
  12. Indeed. Always felt he respected us and wanted to manage us at one point. Bullet dodged me thinks in a certain way.
  13. Hoddle especially seemed bitter. Yes we know we were under par but that's no reason to be bitter and salty about it. "Never a penalty" and "fears for the game" nonsense.
  14. Kings of Europe. #6 in the bag. Too bad it wasn't a double but lets leave that out for now. It was what I thought a typical PL dog fight which took away the shine a bit. It was cagey and nervy at times but we are side that has been beaten once in a PL season, our defence is immense and it showed tonight. In cloud 9 right now and this smile ain't going away any time soon. I was in tears when Henderson lifted the trophy but I'm particularly pleased for Klopp. The man deserved it, not only this season but also for the past seasons where we came so close. Love the team, love the manager, love the fans. Imagine not supporting the best club in the world. Kings of Europe.
  15. Be very surprised if we score. Lads have done us proud. 45 minutes left. You'll Never Walk Alone.
  16. I hope you are right. Last time I was this deflated was half time at Istanbul.
  17. There is no speed in the team. How can we score when our main strength, counterattacking, is out of the question?
