  1. Did stepping over the ball influence the play?
  2. It was coming to be fair. Lyon just backed off so much defensively.
  3. I have seen Mane, Salah, Firmino all tracking back defending and working for cause. Didn't see that work ethic in Barcelona tonight. "None for all but all for me" kinda mentality.
  4. Going to be stating the obvious here but having a team full of superstars that don't do the hard work just doesn't cut it any more. You need the work horses in any given team.
  5. Spending and hoping for quality is easy, as Man City have proven. Spending on unknown players you know to be quality is a much harder skill.
  6. Just 2 minutes? Each goal was worth a minute of extra time surely.
  7. Biggest ever loss in a European tie for Barcelona?
  8. My word. Barcelona fans must be going mental.
  9. Don't really care who wins it this year. That was a good game to watch.
  10. I can't spend 100 quid on a shirt (badge and all). I just can't bring myself to justify spending that much on one kit. I just hope that the kit comes down in price.
  11. Fact is, we don't mess around in the transfer market. We buy who we want at the prices we want. Its fantastic to watch.
  12. If I post the tweet too, will it make it more or less likely to happen?
  13. The last time I did we almost won, but that might not be enough.
  14. We've seen loads of times how bad owners effect the behaviour of managers. Especially in media interviews where managers have cracked and let out a comment that can only be attributed to a bad relationship. In Jurgen and FSG I just don't see that. Whilst I'm not a behaviour analyst, I can spot a frustrated manager when I see one. My other point about Jurgen speaking up I suppose is an invalid one as he is an employee of the club and won't speak up unless he has to. But looking at the overall picture, I see nothing to indicate that FSG are the worst club owners in the world that our fans make them out to be. Hold them account when they mess up, yes, but not hate them just for the sake of it. There are, after all, worst owners out there.
  15. If Jurgen has no issues with the owners then I don't see we as fans should want them out. He has said, time and time again, on record too how the owners have played a big part in our recent success. One could argue he is saying that to keep the peace and to deflect any negative criticism aimed at FSG but to be honest, Jurgen doesn't strike me as that kind of personality. If there was something wrong, he would be the first to speak up, I would have thought. From my view there is a sort of synergy between the administrators of the club and the team, which its great to see. They are getting the work done on and off the pitch.
  16. I'm not saying that all of our recently signings have been a success but the success ratio has definitely improved.
