Is it just me or is this pretty much out of his game now? He was always doing my head in a year or two ago with silly fouls but this season I can't really remember that many. If any at all. For me, Lucas is one of the best DM in the league. :yes:

He's been THE player Roma fans always had that special place for (and Totti of course). And It's not because he looks boss. Anyone who have seen him in Italy and in Europe knows, he is class. All the big teams in Italy have tried to buy him. Everyone saw his great eye for a pass. Hopefully we will see his shooting this weekend, because he can score some cracking goals. Hopefully he can slot right in, because we badly need him.

I'm saying what I think we are lacking, what our play is missing. Not Iniesta. But Alonso have been gone since May and I would've hoped it was not just a gamble that Lucas stepped up. Lucas isn't shit, but his game doesn't suit his position in our play. The things I'm pointing out isn't something that've popped up this year either. We need more than one player who can pick up the ball from the back and get our play going. Aquilani isn't going to solve it himself. He's not that kind of player.

It's clear that most of our play have been Alonso's great eye for a pass. When injured a long time it's always been atleast five games before it's started to look decent again. Alonso have made most of our passangers in our offensive play not look THAT bad, when gone I'm tearing my hair out. Carragher, Skrtel, Mascherano, Lucas, Kuyt, Babel (even more shit when Alonso is gone). All of these are just terrible without huge spaces. Insua isn't much better at the moment either. And fuck me, did anyone see most of our team doesn't know what the fuck momentum is, when we had it, Mascherano, Carragher stopped our play and passed it backwards, great. We are in a desperate need of players at the back who can travel with the ball and see a pass, offensive one who can open it up. Agger and Aurelio is two, injured 40 games a season. Finally when we've got the ball between teams midfield and defence, we're all good. Gerrard, Benayoun is excellent there. For me Kuyt is way too much of a waste of space most of the games. If someone would count how many times he's loosing the ball every game, you would need a lot of papers. He does what he does, good and bad, for me it's more bad, but it isn't easy to replace 15 goals a season at the right. We need something different, we can't afford to wait for Aquilani to come good, hopefully. Split the best partnership in the world isn't a good one but right now we are not getting anything out of them anyway. But I will happily sell Skrtel or/and Agger for ballplaying centrebacks and if Mascherano's heart isn't here (or so it seems) I would gladly get a dm with a better eye for a pass. What a fucking sad start of a season, sort it out Rafa.

Thats why he scored a hattrick in the last few games of the season with Ajax? And it is well known Moggi was well pissed off about it too, telling his "friend" about it on the phone, how he had told Zlatan to play badly when he really didn't.

Rafa should leave or get kicked, not that I think he's done a bad job, but for the fans. This can't go on, bashing him for every move he does. Rightly in some cases. But everything is ruined. The trust most had is gone. For the fans this is the only way. And the end for me going to Liverpool forums. It isn't what it should be like anymore. Sadly.

We all love this club, in one way or another. The reasons is different for everyone and will probably change as time goes by. It has for me. Why? Maybe its because I'm getting older. When I was younger I loved seeing every game that was on TV. Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga or English League. It didn't really matter. As most of us do(or should of), I found my love in Fowler and of course Liverpool. Now ten years later it has changed, maybe its me or maybe our football has changed. Maybe we supporters has changed. Now, I pretty much only watch Liverpool. Why? I don't know. Its the first time I've watched us being a real title challenger and we're still not happy? Isn't weird? We aren't scoring enough goals, we don't play good enough, we haven't got good enough squad etc etc. I think most of us have been feeling the same. But I can't help but feel that we really just should be enjoying our title challenge and cheering the boys on. Yeah, maybe we won't be winning the league this year, but so what? I've never been dying for that title or that cup. I just want to be apart of something, reading forums, talking with friends. Is really titles and cups the only way to be happy as a supporter? I love seeing us getting new players, seeing them devolop, playing well. Having Gerrard scoring a few crackers now and then, Torres scoring goals, Carra getting that last minute tackle in. Winning shouldn't be everything. We all love to brag about something, football is one. Can that be the big reason for people to hope that the league title is coming "home"? I don't know. But I do know that I want to be happy seeing our team doing well and being on top and not be negative over a draw that saw us land there. I'll try.
