  1. She wouldnt watch it but thankfully she is hooked on Celeb big brother for some ungodly reason so I can get away with it at the moment. Thank god for shite TV
  2. When I 1st started this my missus was well chuffed coz she hates MW3, she quickly grew to despise it
  3. The best early weapon is found in Markath. Its called the Mace of Molag Bal. Just do the house of horrors quest and you get it as a reward. It's deadly. It drains magika, stamina and also has a built in soul trap. The quest is easy to do at any level and its massively overpowered. If you want it, that guide I posted shows you how to get it and its well worth doing. The only way you will get a better weapon is to make one yourself. I would reccomend getting it as soon as possible. Its a quality mission aswell. nb despite what I said ealier, dont disenchant this until your smithing and enchantement are quite high because its so good you wont be able to replace it
  4. Another thing, the easiest way to fill a Grand or a Black soul gem is to kill a mamoth. This is probably a bit out of your reach at the moment at level 10. You need a really good weapon to take these fuckers on as the giants will come running straight away. The giants contain greater souls and when you have cleared their camps you will always find a chest filled with shit load of gold and a very tasty weapon.
  5. To fill the soul gems you need to buy a soul trap spell. You then cast that on anything you are fighting and when they die, you "soul trap" them. This means your soul gems will fill 1 at a time. These are then used for enchanting. The bigger the enemy the larger the soul so if for example you only have Grand soul gems, dont soul trap mud crabs as they will fill the gem with a petty soul which is a massive waste. A top tip is even though you wont want to do it, disenchant every weapon you find and then you can then put that enchantement on your own items. With high enchanting and smithing skills you make beast weapons and armour. If you want the larger soul gems quickly, there are a few dotted around in the Arch mages room in the college of winterhold. Hang round in front of them in a sneak position and when the eye closes, it means you cant be seen and swipe them
  6. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/326628/skyrim-guide-15-essential-tips-and-cheats/ This will sort you out
  7. Get your smithing skills up and make a decent weapon. Easy to do. Just buy all the iron you can afford and turn it into daggers. Flog the daggers to the blacksmith and repeat. Your skills will fly up to start off and you will soon be able to make the good stuff. Also learn to enchant your items and you can make rings, amulets etc which will give you plus 26% on your one handed skill( or whatever you chose). My ebony mace now does 176 damage plus 36 fire damage per swing. Google smithing guides and loads of stuff comes up
  8. I have both a ps3 and 360 and I only use the ps for exclusives and blue rays. I have never come across a hacked lobby on the 360 and I have put in something like 3 days when I look at my time played online. You get dicks who go in free for all and use tactical insertions to spam kill streaks but I blame infinity ward for that. They should have learned that lesson from mw2. Speaking of mw2 I put 20 days online on that and only came across hacked lobby's possibly 3 times. If you google " cheap Xbox live" you shouldn't pay more than 30 quid for a year and the live experience is flawless in my experience. Maybe I have been lucky
  9. I love cod but the amount of squeaky voiced 13 year olds on there is a fucking nightmare
  10. There are shit loads of side quests to do. You should be able to level up fully b4 completing the main story line. Have you done all the quests from that dude that looks like elvis. He is in the town just outside Vegas. Also just wander the wasteland and you will keep finding towns or settlements with people to talk to and they will give you more missions. Just pick a direction and keep walking and you will come across stuff to do In no time. I think points of interest are denoted by triangles on your radar. Just walk towards them.
  11. Best advice I can give you if your new to the game is work the outskirts of the maps. Dont go charging in to the hotspots or you will be picked off very quickly. The scarH with a silencer is my weapon of choice at the moment but you wont go wrong with the M4A1, UMP, ACR (unlocked quite late tho) and if you know how to snipe then go with the Barrett. Problem is you really need to know how to quickscope as the maps on this one are not the most friendly for snipers. I find that a silencer is your best friend on this game. Without it you show up on the mini map and people will hunt you down in seconds. With perks I go slight of hand pro, Quickdraw Pro and Dead Silence pro but you will find others my think their loadout is better. You need to play around and find out what suits you better. The learning curve is brutal on this game if your only just getting involved as a lot of people have invested 1000's of hours in COD over the last 3 or 4 games in the series.
  12. You have to install a texture pack to get the hd graphics. Massive difference http://wikigameguides.com/Battlefield-3/wiki/HD-Texture-Pack-Graphics-Comparison-16937
  13. Have you installed the HD texture disk?
  14. No worries Do you mean the vats system. It sort of pauses the action and allows you to target different areas of whatever is attacking you? If so that's one of the most important areas of the game. Trying to kill stuff like a normal shooter is a nightmare. Focus on this when you level up. Keep an eye out for certain perks that give you double xp as although there will be more tempting perks these pay for themselves in no time. Google fallout new Vegas wiki and you will get all sorts of valuable info. This game is daunting when you start but you will soon find it 2nd nature
  15. Not played this for months but you need all the bottle caps you can get as these are the games currency. Don't loot any old shit. Just look at the value and decide if it's worth stealing compared to the weight. You will only be able to carry so much. When you start getting close to your weight limit, find a shop and sell everything. You need to keep your guns and armour well maintained as the worse condition it gets the less effective it becomes
  16. It's almost unfair at the moment. Getting kills for fun
  17. Depends what you want. Battlefield is a more team based stratagy type game where you really have to work together and MW3 is the same as the previous titles. Fast fun and be prepared to die a lot when you start off, especially at this late stage as the maps take some getting used too. I personally prefer MW3 but a lot of people will completely disagree. What isnt in question though, both are superb and well worth the cash
  18. Just won a free for all game 1500-1450 with a throwing knife kill to win the game. Fucking awesome. Saved that clip I can tell you
  19. Been on mw3 this afternoon and didn't get one drop out so hopefully things have sorted themselves out. Thanks though lads. Will rep all of you when I get on my laptop. On my works piss up thinking lets get home and get on mw3 and skyrim
  20. Is that as painfully complicated as it sounds?
  21. Do these really work? The idea seems too good to be true. Would the connection be more stable than wireless?
