Why does Rafa need to say this?! If Torres needs reassurances about rafa's future then Torres should just ask him. What Rafa says directly to Torres would be no different to what he would say to the global media, in that he needs to keep the players confidence high. I'm concerned. Maybe, just maybe Rafa knows there is something brewing in the boardroom and that confidence around the club is going to take a hit during pre-season.

I'm shitting it. As much as it hurts me to say it the defensive partnership of Mongo and Carvalho (sp?) is one of the best in europe and will be hard to beat. Yes Carvalho is a dirty bastard but if he was one of ours I think we'd be praising him to the hilt because not too many people get past him. Mongo has a lot to thank him for. As an aside, like Vidic, I have a feeling that Carvalho will really hurt someone soon with those wild challenges. I just hope its not Torres.

I've watched Chelsea a lot recently and I think we have enough to beat them over two legs regardless of the 2nd leg being at the bridge. Their league form would suggest they are quietly efficient but I think they just do enough to get the result, like tonight. I've said it before, keep joe Cole quiet and we'll do well. As an aside, Everton haven't played well for a month, I reckon Portsmouth will get 5th....

Well and truly, to think I was gutted when we missed out on him... We need to keep our eye on Joe Cole, keep him quiet = Liverpool win.
