Completely agree, UFC had a stronger stable of smaller fighters Hughes/GSP/Penn/Serra etc etc don't even get me started on the UFC HW division around those times.

Chuck then went on a tear up in the UFC and then about the time they squared up in the vid above was about the time the fight should of happened. It turns out Pride used the Chuck V Wand square off in UFC for promotion for the upcoming Pride US card they had, and I don't think they had any intention of letting Wand fight in UFC. I think either Dan Henderson or Cro Cop KO Chuck shortly after that and killed off the old Axe Murderer. Fuck I miss those times...

Both Chuck and Wand (Especially Wand) were damaged goods by the time they fought, if they'd have fought the first time Wand was brought over to square up to Chuck "I want to fuck Chuck" it would of been comparable to Fedor v Cro Cop. Both of them were on this massive unbeaten run at the time I think, I used to lie in bed thinking about them fighting it would of been huge more so because of the Pride Vs UFC thing. I think Hughes Vs Grace and GSP v BJPenn 2 have probably been the two biggest UFC fights, well at least until I started losing interest. I'd imagine Conner McGregor and Rousey fights have been much bigger in terms of numbers since UFC got more mainstream.

My bird got banned/visa denied, we was only waiting for a flight from Miami and Philedelphia on the return for just over an hour to Mexico. (She's Bulgerian/not a muslim and it's cost her over £600 extra flight/visa application) This was before Trump was sworn into Office, if you ask me this whole thing is for show to look like he's going through with his "I think we need to look at banning Muslim Immigration while we figure out what's going on here" line or whatever he said.
