He either has something to hide, or is simply ducking the fight imo. Personally think that Manny's team never even wanted the fight. First they state that Floyd wants none of Pacman - Floyd negates that with a quality interview after Pacman vs Cotto. Then it was the money - Floyd negates that with a 50-50 split. Floyd even agrees to fight at 147 when he actually wanted it at 154. Certainly not the signs of someone ducking a fight. No excuses left for the Pacman team. All he has to do is say 'ok' to some blood tests. Not exactly hard. From where I'm standing there's only one corner ducking the fight

He got himself sent off when he pulled Lucas back,if the ref was adequate there would have been no need for our players to get involved. He tried to back out of it until it all kicked off.

Right firstly let me just say that right now the injuries we have are crazy Agger,Skrtel,Johnson,Aurelio,Gerrard,Aquilani,Rier a and not a fully fit Torres,what team would not miss this many KEY players. Remember that the majority of Houlliers team were still there for the 2004/05 season,with the exception of Owen,Heskey and Murphy,replaced by Cisse(houlliers buy) Garcia and Alonso.Now the difference in quality is there for everyone to see,in the space of four years we have a much improved squad. With regard to all the "duds" he's bought,90% of them have been moved and replaced with someone of a higher quality e.g. Josemi was replaced by Arbeloa who was then replaced by Johnson.,Pellegrino was replaced by Agger and so on. Granted Crouch and Keane were never properly replaced but Bellamy was replaced by Torres Silverware We won a cup trebe under Houllier and finished second on one occassion,in his final season we struggled to finish in the top 4. Under Rafa we have finsihed 5th but won the Champions league, finished 3rd and won the FA cup, finished 4th with 0 silverware but reached the Champions league final, finished 4th with zero silverware finished 2nd with zero silverware. He has embedded us in the top 4,alright at the moment we look shakey but its November,people need to calm the fvck down. Domestically we have become much more of a force whilst challenging in europe,well lets be honest in Europe we have been a major force with failing to reach the semi finals on only 2 occassions(1 ko last 16,1 ko last 8). The academy is now under Benitez's control and hopefully he will make a success of it,if we look at the success Wenger and Ferguson have produced from their underage outfits it identifies the bonus of the manager having full control.Its unfair to compare and criticise Benitez in this regard as he has only taken control of the academy and the scouting network is not as great as that of United and Arsenal,both of whom have set theirs networks up throughout the years.But we can only hope to emulate those,I believe it will be another 3/4 years before we start to reap the benefits of this. You don't come from nowhere to win a league and the team that Rafa inherited was nowhere near good eough to challenge for a title.Over the past 5 years we have had some setbacks but we have had a lot more strides in terms of improvement,we have to dislodge some big hitters Chelsea,United and Arsenal and its not going to happen overnight. __________________

Here's the way I see our season so far,we've been a little disjointed at times and looked very slow in possession.When we increase our intensity we really cause problems but unfortunately we have to go behind for that to happen. But and its a big but,this early in the season its all about results,if we can continue to grind out wins the performances will arrive in due course.
