  1. Something needs to be done..the club need to clear Suarez's name. They are not going to appeal, good decision. But they need to get Suarez to sue the FA privately and evra also if possible ferguson for making an accusation of using the word N*****. Otherwise we as a club are going to get a lot of shit, in the foreseeable future. If the club don't do anything then the owners can **** ***!!
  2. Is This is guy educated or what .... The head of European football's anti-racism group, Piara Powar, believes Liverpool should have been more proactive over the latest issue to affect the club. The club and Merseyside Police have launched investigations after Oldham's 20-year-old defender Tom Adeyemi was allegedly abused by someone in the Kop during the FA Cup third-round tie on Friday. The suggestion is the comments were of a racial nature. It comes as Liverpool deal with the fall-out from Luis Suarez's eight-match ban for racial abuse of Manchester United's Patrice Evra. Powar, the executive director of European football's anti-discrimination body FARE, said: "The obvious thing for LFC must be to come out as a club – owner, manager, captain – and start to undo some of the damage, including addressing their fans. "Go on to the LFC website and there is not a single expression of regret about what happened," he added. "Are LFC fans going to do this at every game, support the mistakes made by their own man by abusing others? Top clubs have unprecedented influence and power over millions of people. They should exercise that power responsibly. If they don't, it's time for the authorities to step in." A 20-year-old man from Aintree in Merseyside was arrested last night on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence in connection with the Cup tie. Liverpool issued a statement saying they "continue to work closely with Merseyside Police to establish all the facts surrounding the incident".
  3. What a fucking joke now... Papers are running with tomorrow , Liverpool want talks with united regarding Suarez, it was their manager and player who has ruined another players reputation by lying. Fuck FSG and who ever is running the club....Done absolutely nothing.... By Chris Bascombe Last Updated: 6:15PM GMT 05/01/2012 Senior executives at Liverpool and Manchester United are ready to hold clear-the-air talks to defuse smouldering tensions in the aftermath of the Luis Suárez and Patrice Evra affair. There is recognition at both Anfield and Old Trafford that an already malignant rivalry, which has plagued their recent histories, has deteriorated since the Football Association charged and then suspended the Liverpool striker. The Premier League has indicated it will act as a mediator in an effort to bring a semblance of civility to a relationship which has reached its lowest ebb over the past three months. Liverpool and Manchester United's next scheduled encounter on Feb 11 – their first since Evra accused Suárez of racial abuse – promises to be one of the most volatile between the North West rivals. It is conceivable it will coincide with Suárez's return from his eight-game suspension, or at the very least it will be his second game back. Liverpool have made it clear they will not hesitate to thrust Suárez immediately into action in the Old Trafford fixture, regardless of the torrent of abuse he will receive from the home crowd. But they also acknowledge there is a broader responsibility for the clubs not to allow the ill-will which has festered to spill over into further acrimony, particularly among both sets of fans. Liverpool indicated on Thursday night that they would approach United to assess what, if anything, could be done to placate the situation. For their part, although they undoubtedly feel aggrieved at what they perceive as ongoing attacks on Evra's conduct by Liverpool, United confirmed they would be open to such discussions. The Premier League, well aware that the hostility between United and Liverpool could damage the reputation of English football if it is not channelled in a purely sporting direction, will welcome any opportunity to play its part in easing tensions. Evidently, it will not be an easy task appealing to supporters for calm in an age when invective runs riot on internet chat rooms and via social networking. If the Suárez versus Evra case has proved anything, it is that rampant tribalism extends far beyond the geographical boundaries of Manchester and Merseyside. The debates about the rights and wrongs of the Suárez verdict have been played out across a global audience, and elements of both Liverpool's and United's fans will find the prospect of an olive branch unpalatable. Nevertheless, the clubs and Premier League recognise a duty to make an effort and there have been similar endeavours between clubs in the past. United, including chief executive David Gill, participated in an initiative to halt despicable chants aimed at Arsène Wenger several years ago, even printing a message in their match day programme. The FA recently worked alongside Spurs in a joint effort to cut out homophobic and racist abuse from supporters in a fixture against Chelsea. Liverpool want the FA to take a particular lead in preventing rival fans aiming defamatory chants at Suárez. However, major bridge-building will be required with the governing body if Liverpool are to gain immediate co-operation in attempts to outlaw the targeting of Suárez, who has been maliciously branded racist in some quarters despite the Independent Regulatory Commission concluding it did not believe this to be the case. For Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish, it will be a relief to focus on more sedate on-field matters against Oldham Athletic in the third round of the FA Cup on Friday night. Steven Gerrard is set for only his third start of the season, while Jamie Carragher is also hoping to reassert his position at centre-half having recently lost his place through injury.
  4. Just want Suarez to sue evra and FA. The club are out of this now and hope privetly they are planning this.
  5. Shocking decision by the club....should have taken it further.....really feel for Suarez.....all because of evra and ferguson...hope they experience what they have done to Suarez, lost all faith in the way the club is run.
  6. If has some on here are saying we should accept the ban, then I think kenny would need to go too. As he has put his reputation on the line. Also the club would need to sell suarez. The only thing suarez should have been warned about is using negro in spanish over here. No way should a 3 man panel give him a 8 match ban on evra's word especially as he has previously been found to give false information. This is bigger than the new stadium issue has it's the clubs reputation on the line. Also going by the report it seems like evra was mouthing off about being called names, and then fergie wanted to take it further and started shouting off that he's been called the n***** word has he knew what damage it would do to liverpool. It also comes across as evra lies again when he says he would never call the colour blue at kick off due to it being man city colours, but france wear blue??
  7. Really feel for suarez, Even if he leaves in the summer. Hope he clears his name if not then I hope fergie and evra experience what they have done to Another human being. Good luck to the club.
  8. What shite. The club in their statement are referring to evra previous accusations against the chelsea staff, his made up statement. They are not referring to any racist accusations. They are questioning evra's credibility, and saying that he is a trouble maker.. Ie France national team trouble at world cup etc.
  9. One solution for the FA, do evra for the same.
  10. And fergie says we should let it go but what did he do... Ian Wright's claims that he was racially insulted by Peter Schmeichel*were angrily denied by a furious Alex Ferguson last night. The Manchester United boss smashed reports that his Danish goalkeeper had hurled a racist taunt at Arsenal firebrand*Wright in Wednesday night's Highbury hate game. Fergie went on TV to say: "We can categorically deny that there were any racist remarks from Peter Schmeichel. "We can assure you of that - no question about it - so it's very, very disappointing to read that stuff. It's a wild card. "Peter is very, very upset. People should remember he's got a family to think about back home in Denmark reading about all this. "Manchester United is a worldwide institution - we've got supporters club branches in every corner of the planet and we set great store in our reputation. "Two years ago we were coaching in the black townships of South Africa*- and Peter Schmeichel was part of that initiative. "It's surprised us this wild card has emerged about racist remarks. "Peter Schmeichel is quite adamant about this and it's a big, big slur on us." Fergie was speaking to Sky TV on the eve*of United's next title assignment in the capital against Chelsea. As he hit back at Wright, the FA left both Schmeichel and the England striker in limbo by stalling on whether to charge them for the bust-up after United's crucial 2-1 win at Highbury. Schmeichel is already facing possible criminal charges over allegations that he yelled racial abuse at Wright in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford*in November. A file has been passed to the Crown Prosecution Service, but it's unlikely any charge will be brought. Wright appeared on TV on Thursday night and claimed "nothing" had happened at the end of Wednesday night's thriller in which the 24-goal striker had to be restrained by police and Arsenal physio*Gary Lewin*after the final whistle when Schmeichel confronted him about a dreadful two-footed tackle. But in an interview yesterday morning, however, he claimed his wild behaviour was a reaction to an alleged racist remark by Schmeichel. Wright claimed: "People aren't stupid. They'll have seen my reaction, will know the sort of thing he said and that it has no place in everyday life, let alone football. "I can't believe Schmeichel says he ran 50 yards just to moan about the tackle and then expects people to believe it. "I regret my reaction at the end, too, but when somebody says something as disgusting as that you tend to forget yourself."
  11. Lying again saying evra case v Chelsea, there was only one Chelsea ground staff involved and they took his word over evra and the other man u players. Lying pensioner.. There were a few Chelsea ground staff and they used CCTV images. The press need to grow some balls.
  12. Your right. If the FA had released the written reason at the time od the statement then It might have come out that he used a term that could be taken as being racist. But the way they did that statement as made suarez look like a racist. FA agenda to make them look good.
  13. Searched for it... Can't find the video anywhere.
  14. Amazing you can't get that interview with evra anywhere online.. It's gone missing after doing the job for united getting the message across that Suarez racially abused evra. Also the foriegn interviews are done after the players have had a shower normally.
  15. The silent from united says it all, they would have responded. Looks like fergie told the media last night not to print anything. Hes definitely behind this .
  16. Going by the official statement, I don't think he said negro.
  17. They are going to find suarez guility as the charges cover basically anything...so if its not racism it will be for offending evra etc... They must have already decided that when they charged him. Still believe this is being driven by united, I think the FA would have let it go..as there's fuck all evidence...but united must be saying they are going to do this etc if the FA don't do anything. This should have been settled after the game with both managers, and both players. Never needed fergie too hold evra's hand and take him too the ref.
  18. Understand what your saying, In my view there is no evidence apart from suarez saying he used that word which is used in his country. I also think that the club does know the facts.
  19. What rubbish. From all the reports suarez has addmitted using a word that they use in his country, which is not considered racist over there but is here. The club will have known this before they backed their man. Theres been no evidence, if the ref had heard anything at the game suarez would have been shown a red. If their was evidence this would have been sorted weeks ago. The victim waited until he was with his manager before he made the accusation, Why did fergie and evra not go and have a word with suarez and kenny to hear suarez side and if suarez did not back down then they should have went to the ref to take it further. My view is that fergie is behind this, he wants to destroy suarez and Liverpool. What better way to do it than use racism. Suarez was honest to admit he did use the word, he could have lied as their was no evidence. How can you destory a mans reputation on a thing like this. Hope the club take this all the way to the highest court possible.
  20. Fergie keeps going on about his young kids in the game v basle, but they only had 3 20 year olds gea, jones, smalling, Ferdinand, vidic, evra, park, giggs are in their 30's the rest mid 20's. As usual hes lying,
