  1. What I was trying to say was he has not got enough money to underwrite the loan. Thats why i was saying he couldl pay Gillet a small premuim of around 20-40 million and take on all the loan. A fact is if he had enough money. They would never have downgraded the stadium. He will never be sole owner of Liverpool,
  2. He will never own Liverpool by himself. i.e buy Gillet out. Hes not got the money. Even if hes only paying Gillet a small premium and taken on the whole of the debt. Thats around 700 million dollers. Plus then he needs another 600 million dollers to complete the stadium. Thats over 1 billion dollers. Hes a liar. everything he says is a lie. Only thing hes trying to do is get DIC to pay top money for his stake but they won't.
  3. Surely they must have been looking at the books for the last 4 months. How else could they put a valuation on the club. Unless this is a final look before handing over the money.
  4. I think bascombes previous articles were a bit sexed up regarding DIC taking over. In his article today he seems to be suggesting there could be some more twists etc. Looks like its not so nailed on as everyone as been thinking.
  5. Bascombe says it in his article that hicks spent the week in dubai. Prompting fresh hopes of a breakthrouhgh in the takeover saga. So he must have been there.
  6. Only way he would get that much credit would be when the new stadium is built.
  7. Hes not rich enough to take all the 350 million loan on. And then he needs to find another 300 million for the stadium. On top of that what will he do if during construction the cost goes up 100 million and if we miss out on the champions league.
  8. He would have brought gillete out by now if he wanted too. Looks like gillete as agreed a deal with DIC but for some reason Hicks is delaying it??. Could it be he can buy gillete out at the price they paid last year if gillete wants out. But he wants to sell to DIC for the profit thats why they are not on speaking terms etc. Just cannot see hicks buying out Gillete. Hes not got enough money. Even if he takes out more loans etc it could go wrong for him during the build of the stadium.
  9. Even Bascombe says it in his report... By CHRIS BASCOMBE at Anfield IT has been a while since Rafa Benitez felt safe enough to smile. It was in those distant days of summer 2007, before the clocks went back and when Tom Hicks and George Gillett were still seen as savvy businessmen rather than capitalist beasts. Liverpool were still title contenders in those times and Fernando Torres was looking a £21m bargain. Yesterday, boss Benitez watched Torres' hat-trick fire Liverpool back to fourth place as they mounted a nervous comeback from a goal down against Middlesbrough. And, briefly at least, Benitez must have felt a tinge of nostalgia. For once, European euphoria wasn't undermined by a domestic disturbance. Spanish hitman Torres became the first Liverpool striker since Michael Owen five seasons ago to plunder 20 goals in a campaign. This treble also took his league tally to 15 — so he is odds on to hit double figures in the top flight, too. Not since Robbie Fowler's mid-1990s heyday has any Anfield marksman done that. With Tom Hicks Jnr watching from the directors' box, this was an appropriate time for Benitez to remind his owners that some of his big-money investments have provided valuable returns. He said: "It's very difficult to score 21 goals in your first season so we are really pleased. It's not easy for a foreign player to adapt but we knew he had the power and pace to do well in England. "There were two or three good options we were watching last summer but we knew he had the hunger for the Premier League. We had no goal target in mind for him. "The main thing is to score goals but he can also make assists and create space for other strikers. "When we signed him we weren't just thinking about how many goals he'd score but whether he'd play well or not." Torres' virtuoso performance was assisted by the Boro defence. The visitors were a couple of careless mistakes away from inflicting further trauma at Anfield. The innocuous late sending-off of Jeremie Aliadiere for poking a finger at Javier Mascherano seconds after Stewart Downing had set up a frantic finale did not help. Gareth Southgate's men had started with the confidence of a side unbeaten in eight games. They deservedly led on nine minutes when Tuncay benefited from Liverpool's failed offside trap from Downing's free-kick. The Turk also inexplicably handled a similar chance as he headed home on 35 minutes, which would ultimately prove costly. By then, Torres had taken advantage of the visitors' generosity. Skipper Julio Arca gift-wrapped the equaliser with a tame header directed towards Mark Schwarzer. Torres fought off Emanuel Pogatetz to take the ball past Boro keeper Mark Schwarzer and roll it in. His second came within 60 seconds on 29 minutes when he collected the ball 25 yards out and thundered low into the bottom right corner. Schwarzer and David Wheater then collided — allowing Torres to slot into an empty net to complete his hat-trick 16 minutes into the second half. Even a two-goal cushion did little to ease the chronic sense of anxiety, which increased on 83 minutes when rejuvenated Downing cut the deficit with a tidy finish. Had referee Lee Mason not dismissed Aliadiere seconds later, Boro's late flourish may have yielded greater reward. Southgate said: "He didn't exactly floor the opponent but when you raise your hands, you get punished. It's a lesson he's going to have to learn. "We started really well, exactly as we wanted. Then we lost shape and composure."
  10. More money from dic . make it look like you have no intention of going.
  11. Spot on. If they get the stadium built. Put some equity in. Even if we have debts of 500 million. The club will be worth a billion once the stadium is complete. They wll make alot of money. They just have to keep us up there for the next few years by injecting money. Thats why Hicks did not want to sell he knows the clubs true value once the stadiunms built.
  12. They won't pay that much. Mostly likely they are offering them £10-20million each. Take on the debt. Why do people keep on saying they will pay 500 etc when a year ago they would not pay over 220.
  13. Looks like they are getting annoyed. They probelaar want to only want to pay x amount. Hicks and Gillete want to make big money for doing nothing. Won't blame them if they walk away. Only thing about moores and parry resign and admit publicily that they have screwed up.
  14. That cannot be right. Wheres the money gone??
  15. Why the fuck are they gonna pay 400million plus when a year ago they won't gonna pay 220million and took ages reading the books.
  16. He got £500,000 for getting rafa..who looks like getting the boot. £500,000 bonus for getting the hicks and gillet in. As hes fucked up surely he should be handing the bonus back.
  17. Why does everyone say but DIc will want 30 million in divends etc and thet they will take money out. They fucking deserve to., If they get us and build the new stadium. And sell the club for a billion pounds in 10 years. This is what we need.
  18. They are truelly fucked. They should have got out now and a made a profit. No way their are gonna build the stadium. Only thing thats gonna happen is ..they will start the build but run out money. We can;t service the current debt at 30 million a year where are they gonna get the rest th service the other 300million needed. Six months a year down the line they will have to sell at cost or take a hit.
  19. how can moores and parry still sit in those seats after doing this. pair of dics. I hope Gillete gets whats coming to him . lying B******.
  20. The thing is though. Everyone could see that hicks and Gillette did not have the weatlh to take us forward. If you go back to the takeover thread you can see how all the fans were saying NO. He loves the club. Thats a fact. But the decision he made to sell to these two. Could destroy the club thats why everyones critcising him.
  21. No way DIC going to pay what Hicks wants. They want in going by reports. Why pay so much extra when they could have had the club for 220million a year ago. Remember they told moores to F off and they pulled out when moores wanted more money, not the actions of smoeone who wants us pretty badly.
