just sat eating my tea when to my surprise granada reports said benayouns agent has apparently told benitez that benayoun wants out after just 6 weeks. apprently the rotation is getting to him! there were no direct quotes - anyone know if there is any truth in this. if so, fuck him off straight away.

I agree Kewell has been probably the biggest dissapointment transfer wise in years. He's usually been injured and when he's played hes often been complaining that he is still injured. What I would say however is there is no doubt he has ability and i find it amazing that people would rather have 1.5 million in the bank(although i expect that figure to be bullshit) than harry kewell. I for one would rather take the chance that Kewell can be a top player for us than take shitty money that assists liverpool finances. lets not be daft about it!

Personaly I think if we play with 2 strikers Crouch should be one of them. I think he scored enough last season considering he wasnt always first choice. I also think that he is more of a goal threat than Kuyt. Rafa obviously places him behind Kuyt in the pecking order as highlighted in the champs final and if Crouch isnt a regular this season, could see him being off next season which I think would be a mistake on our part.

agree that benayoun is a garcia replacement. think if babel is not going to play regularly this season (should we sign him) we still need to sign a top drawer winger if we are going to compete with chelsea and man u.

I think bellamy is a good player, whether he was good enough for a liverpool team that is trying to challenge for top honours well possibly not. One thing i would say about him is as of yet he has only spoken very highly about everything connected with the club. and i wish im luck

I get the impression that if Babel joins it wont be to sit on the bench an he will play regularly if not every week. His agent hints as much in the interviews with him. from what he says I think this will be a deciding factor as to whether he joins or not. so those who are concerned he wont impact on a first team and will just be a squad player im not so sure. Babel's agent Winnie Haatrecht has issued a note of caution as he considered any possible impact a move may have on the winger's career. "The route is very clear," said Haatrecht. I dont understand it when people say "we never got our first choice" eto never wanted to leave and malouda never wanted to come so fuck em. i would agree if we were buying players who are on a much lower level than these guys we would have reason to be upset. As for the yanks, when we hear them come out and say no we are not going for him we havent got the money then fair enough. but just coz we hav made money back on players who arent good enough doesnt mean were not being backed financially.

As much as I despise the mancs cant agree with that. behind ronaldo scholes was prob there best player. and unfortunately vidic came good an giggs seems to keep fuckin goin. Ultimately though they cant play all these players they've got. nani and anderson arent gonna get in their first 11 and for me tevez and roomey are v.similar. we need to start the season well and then if were up there after a couple of months u never know.

priority has to be a top winger. cant remember the last team who won the top flight division without a top winger playing for them (other than blackburns ripley and wilcox!) An although Kewell has the potential if we are being honest he as never demonstated that for liverpool consistently.

got to say owen leavin liverpool was the biggest mistake he will ever make but i think he always thought he could come back an to be honest id like to see him back. I am sure he would get 15-20 prem goals. but i do think he is career orientated an would prob go to any of the top 4 clubs to get the fuck away from newcastle which i dont like
