Ultimately my view an a few others is we won the game in spite of Rafa taking gerrard off. Like people have said Rafa has balls and he does his own thing. But nothing sissoko did whilst he was on the pitch made me think he shouldnt have come of instead of Gerrard. In my opinion Gerrard turned the game for us when he went through, got a pen and hibbert got sent off. Some people on here seem to take any questioning of a decision made by Rafa as fuckin blasphomy. For fucks sake it its a game of opinions and these fuckin robots who just say "rafa knows , you dont" welll whats the point in havin a forum if everyone has the same opinion as Rafa. We all know Rafa knows a lot more than us but it doesnt mean to say that some of his decisions aren't baffling. But hopefully he will go on to win the league and go down as one of our managerial greats

Very few are willing to answer the question, i assume because they dont wanna be seen to disagree with any decision made by Rafa. At least I an a few others are willing to say yeah it worked but I wouldnt have done it. In the time iv been on the forum I ve noticed people openly slaggin off the likes of reise, hypia an even gerrard without any hostility against them however any rafa decision criticisim seems to be met with disguist. If you want to act moralistic surely these people should be pulling up player bashers rather than people who are questioning decisions made but ultimately its a game of opinions. Im fuckin made up we won and beat them horrible bitter bastards but if I said Rafa's decision making didnt concern me in our pursuit for number 19 id be lying. Not havin that. So sissoko was more lkely to assist us in gettin a win that gerrard? It was a fuckin strange decision. Lets be honest they were fucked and we were pressin them which you would expect us to do against 10 men when we had got the equaliser in a game of that intensity. dont get me wrong leiva played well when when he came on but i dont agree i was the right decision to bring gerrard off. We were very fuckin lucky to win.

I agree, when does he ever criticise players other than gerrard? I know there is an opinion that gerrard has a big ego but Benitez needs to fuckin lay off. It drives me mad. Alonso was fuckin poor last season would Benitez ever come out and criticise him, would he fuck. Gerrard has a handful of medeocre games (no worse than the players playing around him) and Benitiez is making comments about his form or lack of it. I think his man management skills leave somethin to be desired at times.

Ive spoken to Ian an think he's on about the comments about gerrard playin with his heart and not his head which was out of order. But for gerrard we would not have got back into that game as we were lookin shit. Do think there is some issues regarding benitez's and gerrards relationship.

The hostility towards Michael Owen fuckin amazes me. I remember goin to anfield watchin him as the leading light in a sometimes mediocre team (prior to gerrard). Without his goals at times fuck knows where he would have been. Yeah he had a lack of balls not callin madrids bluff and fuckin newcastle off but leaving us is probably something he will regret for the rest of his life. Cant believe the way people talk about him.

I cannot believe people are criticising steven gerrard. He was the best player on the park against both villa n chelsea by a fuckin mile. Since he has had a few below par games - and doesnt it fuckin show as we have been below par as a team. It is about time other players in our team can cover for gerrard when he is not the best player on the park and can raise their individual games. He is the best midfielder in the world in my opinion and also the greatest footballer to play for this club of his generation.

No rafa shouldnt be sacked - no chance. I admit im one of the people who want to see our best players (the spine of our team) remain the same for prem games unless someone is injured but im hoping RAFA can win the league doing things his way as being honest he doesnt look like changinghis methods but you never know. whether he WILL win the league for us is hard to say but leaving top players out isnt giving himself the best opportunity. I think he will get about 3 more seasons inc this to try and win the league and then i think unless he is very close the yanks may look to replace him

its fuckin simple!! u play your best players when they're fit. if you play the best teams your made up if the eto's,henry's, v.nistleroys, drogba's arent playing. the reason being they are the best players and can make the difference at the top level. i bet steve bruce was delighted when he saw torres wasnt playin. an please, one of the sheep who refuse to have an opinion different to benitez dont take that as me saying voranin or kuyt are poor players

i think and hope we can win the league under benitez. but one thing i am sure of is that we are not giving ourselves the best chance when we dont play our best players when they are fit.

houllier used to be a stubborn twat in that he stuck with his shit signings and struggled to accept when they werent good enough. benitez isnt like that as he is ruthless and fucks them off if they arent good enough and appears to accept u win some u lose some in the transfer market. however when it comes to this resting players business I cant help thinking he is thinking "fuck you, i will show u this system works" i find it hard to understand otherwise. some players you can rotate but for the best players there are no replacements. Put it one way if us an united were managerless in 5 years and mouriniho was available I would much rather us get him than united. Ultimately hes a winner an im sure he will have success whereever he goes.

Im made up that Mouriniho has left Chelsea as I think he's a top manager and it weakens one of our 2/3 tital rivals for the season.Hopefully a few of the players who love playing for him will fuck off aswell.
