Quaresma on the left and A.N. Other on the right. Simao, Lennon, Alves (yes, for the right wing, where I think he is best) are all options for that spot. Who Rafa will get is another thing altogether.

I didn't suggest anything different to that, there are no guarantee's but a quality player (big name or undiscovered talent) is far more likely to succeed, in my opinion than a player that doesn't have quality and normally, you pay for what you get and you get what you pay for. It is easy to name the high profile signings that haven't done well, but for every one of those there is 10 low profile ones that were never expected to make an impact anyway. The only thing Rafa can do is buy players that will fit into the system, something that he has done very well when he has had the funds to bring his top targets in, he will now have bigger funds to bring the players in. I don't expect big name signings (although if they have quality, which most do, then great) but I expect him to sign players on the brink of being very good, like he tried to do with Alves and Villa (and Eto'o). He will fail with some and be successful with others. I wouldn't sell Crouch. I think he is quality and at his job is one of the best in the game.

I was more than happy to see Arsenal lose, again. The overblown hype in the media was really starting to irritate me, 'kids' this, 'kids' that. Toure, Almunia, Rosicky, Hleb, Baptista. Hardly "the kids". Infact only two "kids" actually started, Wallcott and Traore who are both 17. Calling players around the young 20's is what really fucked me off. Surely Momo, Mascherano, Pennant, Gonzalez, Agger etc are "kids" in the same way. Arseholes

No doubt it is the quality of signing we need right now. I think we are at at such a level that only players of that high quality (big name, or small) will actually make a difference to the team overall. Kuyt and Eto'o... Suit you Sir.
