  1. Ive had a little look at Keita on all the youtubes etc that i could find. Really good player, creative and energetic. Is lightweight a fair description though? He doesnt lack any bottle from what i can see and he seems to press constantly but i cant see what the plan is for him, also taking account of the fact that i thought that Coutinho was also going to be playing centrally this season? Mignolet Clyne Matip CB LB Can Lallana Mane Coutinho Salah Firminho Ward Lovren TAA Wij Henderson Milner Solanke Sturridge It looks a decent squad too. I just dont see how we can accomodate Phil and Keita centrally. Thoughts?
  2. We will be ok as long as his eyes dont turn gold.
  3. Yeah i see that, but id like to see less cutting back. Imo, Mane has gone on a level with us and is (arguably) our most effective player. Im sure they will be interchangable. With Coutinho and Milly ( i feel a neg would be justifiable here!) On the left side i felt that we lacked width on that side. I guess that Jurgen may sign a full back who could offer more natural width. The difference between forward and winger is relevant, but there are still areas that overlap. But i guess its about preference. It has bugged me for a while that we have had no width on the left and i was delighted to see Jurgen suggest that Phil could play more centrally in future. It may well be as you say and i hope it looks great if it does!
  4. I like it, but i want Salah on the left, predominantly. Mane is great where he is, i dont want to buy a left footed winger for the right then put mane on the left, cutting back. Ok, im sure it will be interchangable.......
  5. Thanks for that!! City will piss the league, Utd and Chelsea will be behind them, leaving a chase for 4th for spurs, arsenal and everton. We will make cl but go on to the europa league after getting a group of death in the cl. We wont win anything, because fsg and the incompetence that they employ are incapable of doing their jobs to a satisfactory level. They are making Klopps job harder for him and will undo his efforts to bring us back.
  6. Surely there will be a link on the everton site on the comparable *shakes head* everton again thread? Heads falling back on i would say. Let the ea executive slap the story in the echo and see what southampton have to say. I cant believe im typing this, but let Jurgen tap up the player then text him to say we are not interested and see what vvd has to say!! Our lovely little americans. The banks of the royal red mersey, from the rs jumping in to escape what their club has become. Not a good day. The fume is pretty strong in this one. The sack is what is needed, but that would imply that the wrong people were selected, which looks bad for fsg, so that wont be happening.
  7. I moaned the other day about our public transfers dragging on. Then, all of the sudden, i look like a right plonker with the news that VVD was signing, betting suspended. Thanks LFC and your mouthpieces at the Echo, you have saved my internet reputation
  8. Thats how i see it too mate. Its all in the press. Just sign players, do what is necessary. We are in for VVD and Naby Keita, in a 3 way race for VVD, although i dont see Chelsea and Man City putting out 'wide of the mark' bullshit in the press. Keita. Interest declared, nothing signed, really good player. Anyone else who has the cash and desire to get the deal done can now come and pull our new shorts down in public and give us another everton moment. Heck, his club can just say no!
  9. Im finding the insistence that we are in for him, fighting for his signature, through the press, really strange. Im uncomfortable with that. If we dont get him, which could be the case, it would make us look like everton, before they became royal blue mersey billionaires.
  10. How does one grab the desperate brasses attention in these "transactions"??
  11. Thank god. Get Lovren off the daft cnut.
  12. Thank god. Get Lovren off the daft cnut.
  13. I feel it too, but im hoping for a Klopp inspired transfer shake up that has us competing again. We are a big club, with our support and popularity exceeding our ability to win things. I just hope that we can move in the right direction. I absolutely love Jurgen. I think that they have taken a calculated risk where they have got rid of alot of players who were not good enough or had the wrong attitude and used kids and players of moderate quality to fill the gaps. I hope it was with the overall intention of raising the quality over time. After this weekend, we should be in a great financial position with CL football to offer, with a happy vibrant squad in a good way under Klopp. Im positive for the future!
  14. Do all we can, 4-0 and a romantic result for watford. Stones revealed as a bottle job by troy deeney.....£35m rated troy deeney
  15. Does Harry have a beautiful wag?? I dont like the look of him tbh......
  16. No mate i was jist having a laugh. My fancy ideas on who we should sign are far grander than my ability to copy and paste!

  18. I dont think that our American overloads would stretch to Donnuramma too but i can hope!
  19. I must admit to the Robertson link depressing me. I havent gone through all the tension and stress of watching this team (possibly) making it to the champions league to have that laid on me! Hell no. Ive started dilligently trawling youtube to try and find that gem of a clip that makes me think...'hey, nice move there Liverpool scouting department' but i cant, because everything that ive seen makes me think that he is very average indeed. I deserve better than that. Luan too. Not in this league. Some manc journos must be rubbing my sphincter. A top left back, a first choice centre back, Keita, Asensio. A top striker or a player like Lucas Moura who can play as a forward and rotate with Mane up top. A sessegnon to add to the quality and develop him. Id also like Solanke as a replacement to Origi who i would send out on loan.
  20. Im going to give my wife a fist full of cash and ask her to take the kids out when i watch this. I was shaking with anger v Southampton and was an absolute wanker to anyone who had the misfortune to see me. If stoke get a result v arsenal then i expect a comfortable victory as i find this group absolutely gutless and without pressure, we would smash them. An arsenal win and things like origi through the middle plus resting Lallana on the advice of sports scientists and the same midfield v southampton....3-1 to the ammers. Im obviously at the zonkeville stage but i hope to become a tad more optimistic over the next 2 days. Id like an tha to give some phychological input before kick off and get these boys motivated!
