  1. I don't agree with those saying we need to get rid of everyone but that game highlighted how poor we are in the cm positions, Banega was running the game and we should have better players than him.
  2. At no point during that game did we have control of the midfield, Sturridge scored a wonder goal out of nowhere and we had them rocking towards the end of the first half and were winning then ball back in dangerous areas. Can and Firmino were terrible in possession and I was thinking Allen should be coming on not long after half time, after they got their first goal they took even more control and I think Allen should have come on a lot earlier.
  3. Gutted after that, another fucking year just to qualify for the cl. Certain players bottled it, we should have had 2-3 penalties and the tactics in the second half could have been better. Klopp will have a lot of time to train the players next season and that's the only positive I can see right now. Fuck Sevilla, that cunt ref and the Europa league.
  4. Normally they don't put the free matches on sky but yesterday I saw on their Twitter account that tonight's match would be.I hope that wasn't a mistake on their part as I don't fancy watching this online tonight.
  5. That's why I posted in the Rodgers thread yesterday, people call me an idiot yet say I don't stop talking about Rodgers on here.Someone who's not an idiot should be able to see I'm not doing that and that the only time I do is when I'm replying to someone. I've been unwell the last few days and the idiots have been getting to me more then they would normally, I'm tempted to say things but I won't sink to others level. As for your pity and your psychic abilities you need to practice more as you've been wrong with what you say.I could make assumptions about you and others but I'm not rude.
  6. That's not true at all is it, Rodgers was given something like 90m during his time here and the rest was from sales. As for him going out of cups a couple of times to teams we should beat, shit happens and Klopp will have similar results in the future. He was lucky to get through his first game in the fa cup and we went through on penalties in the carling cup, he won't be as lucky every time and basically every manager has suffered those kind of defeats.
  7. Youd rather taste balls then read one of my posts yet you haven't blocked me and have been replying to my posts more than anyone else the last few days.
  8. Not really, I don't want to go over it again as people are going to start crying but anyone can check last seasons table and compare it to this seasons. As for all the extra games we have played I'm not so sure about that either because we got to two semis last season and got to the last 32 or 16 of the Europa league. The same problems are there regarding playing the smaller teams and while we have done well in the cups most of the times we went out under Rodgers it was against strong teams. We beat big teams in Europe but if you look back on the group stages you'd see there wasn't a massive improvement, we had similar results against the small teams when Klopp was putting out our first team. Before people starting getting angry I agree with those who'll say it's not Klopps squad etc and that we may be better when he gets his own players, Im just calling it as I see it instead of saying everything is so much better.
  9. Yeah I didn't mean to write that, he has won me over and that's he truth.I meant to say I couldn't question anything Rodgers did from January in his first season until the end of the next one, Klopps doing a good job but he has done some things I'd question.
  10. Agreed and I don't see Klopp not starting him anyway, I can see him being the match winner tonight. He looked very good in training yesterday scoring a lovely back heeled goal, I'd be amazed if he doesn't start tonight.
  11. I'm not bothered about Rodgers anymore, there's been a couple of games where I said somethings similar to what was being said last season by most of here. Its literally been a couple of times but you lot can't take it and cry like babies, if I'm a bad fan then most of you were an embarresment to the club and don't deserve to be called LFC fans.Im glad you lot are starting to see how other fans felt last season when some were being complete cunts, imagine what you'd be saying about me if I was laying in to Klopp every game and was taking the piss out of anything I could. No I'm not like his offline as if people have the same opinions as some on here I just nod and say ok as there's no point debating with them.It was funny seeing some of you fume when you have said and done far worse, you all said certain things would definitely improve when the last manager went but when I prove that hasnt happened you start throwing hissy fits. With all this crying about eveything I say even when it's facts I may make this my last season on tlw, this site is turning in to rawk where you have to say everything's perfect at the club and there's too much paranoia with people getting angry about seeing facts.
  12. He was excellent the season before he joined us and showed his quality at West Ham after he left, he had enough ability but couldn't deal with the pressure.
  13. It is getting boring but maybe you should be asking why are people trying to start arguments instead of saying why do people reply like I'm saying bs to get a response. I said Suarez wouldn't get that amount of goals in any other team in a strong league, that's not even up for debate and if people think Suarez would be getting that amount in any team they need to remove their nose from his arse.
  14. I didn't agree with Rodgers being named manager and was against him at the start, I did like his ideas and after 6 months he changed the way the team played and had us in cl form until the end of the season. From January to the end of the next season he was taking th piss with how easy he was making the job look and I couldn't fault him for anything. After the title challenge I feared for the next season even when we didn't know Suarez was leaving, expectations were raised and fans thought the 80s were back and expected us to be challenging for the league from the start and competing for the cl.I said on here the next season was going to be hard because of this and if we start slowly we will miss out on cl because fans will get depressed and will fuck up the atmosphere around the club, I said the fans need to keep patient and remember what had been achieved so we don't fuck up and sack an excellent manager. I was basically spot on but we didn't miss out on the cl because of the fans, we missed out because the committee fucked up signing Balotelli and we lost our best striker to injury.Despite all that Rodgers still nearly had us qualify for the cl with no striker while we also got far in other competitions, my belief that he was the right manager increased last season and I was even more eager to see him stay. Sacking him this season 3 months in to it was ridiculous and imo we got rid of a man who would have won us the title just like we did when we got rid of Rafa.Overall Rodgers done very well here and laid the foundations for the next manager doing most of he hard work (getting rid of the high earners and leaving an exciting young squad which was strong enough to qualify for cl), I was disappointed to see him go and think he will go on to be a top manager.
  15. I'm not attention seeking and the only reason I don't come on here is I don't want to go over it again as I have gone over everything about 3 or 4 times during the last couple of years, if I do mention Rodgers on the football forum its replying to other comments which some people can't see to understand.Seeing as this thread doesn't get much replys I'll talk about Rodgers time here one more time as it will be here for all to see.
  16. When Mignolet came in he was apparently being brought in as competition for Reina, he may be staying but the press saying that means nothing as the club would say that so it doesn't look like we are desperate to sell Mignolet.
  17. If thinking the Spanish league is not the strongest means that then yes, I don't think that means that though and since you think people are retarded for thinking that maybe you need a check up.
  18. I don't give a fuck about what Rodgers is doing, it seems most on here do as I saw a thread a few weeks ago where everyone was talking about him wearing a white suit. Klopp is not God to me and I give him more leeway than I did with Rodgers when he first arrived, Rodgers won me over, Klopp as yet has not. I'm comfortable with my mental state and am happy not to follow the crowd, people say I love Rodgers but Klopp needs to up his security with the way some are talking as its like they see him as the second coming.
  19. First reply in this thread, I'm trolling or being a cunt for giving my opinion though because I'm not saying Klopp is the best. As I say people try to say I'm crazy but I think it's the other way around, people saying I'm making up lies makes me wonder what they get up to on the net.And if I'm a cunt then most on here need to take a look in the mirror as they were laying in to the last manager and were questioning him even during the season we challenged.
  20. I keep seeing people on here saying they are going to block me, please do as I don't know what some of your problems is and I'm going to start blocking the looneys myself. This is a thread discussing training and several people were talking about the differences before I even posted on here, I gave my opinion and backed it up with evidence and people are getting angry. As I say if people just want to think Klopp is the best at everything and don't want it questioned then there's no point talking to other people about it, look elsewhere on the Internet and you will see people have more extreme views about things I'm getting criticised for.
  21. I don't see anyone questioning what the players are saying about Klopp. This is nothing to do with defending Rodgers, everyone is saying Klopp will demand more and will have us fitter than ever. Seeing as we supposedly were doing more than the top clubs in Europe already and we haven't seen a big difference so far this season I'll wait until next season to see if it's true about Klopp instead of just agreeing with those who think everything Klopp does is better than any other manager.
  22. I'm replying to people who are talking about a subject, if you don't like it noones forcing you to read it. As for me being boring, if you all want to just agree with each other you might aswell talk to yourself in the mirror, what I've said is facts and I've provided the proof.
  23. Liverpool's head of performance Glen Driscoll firmly believes manager Brendan Rodgers demands better performances from his players than the likes of Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Luiz Felipe Scolari do from their teams. Driscoll spent eight years at Stamford Bridge working in a number of roles under seven different managers including the current Brazil, Real Madrid and Chelsea managers. Having originally crossed paths with Rodgers at Reading and Chelsea, Driscoll followed the Northern Irishman to the Liberty Stadium and then to Anfield in 2011, where he has been at his side since. And having worked alongside some of the biggest personalities in the modern game, Driscoll believes no one demands standards as high as the current Liverpool boss. ""We have a manager who inspires and demands more from his players than any other manager I've seen," Drsicoll said, speaking to Liverpool's official website. "Tactically, he demands both a relentless, high energy press, but also an electric transition and counter attack. Most teams do one or the other." Driscoll adds that the nature of training regimes at Melwood have Liverpool perfectly set up for a title run in where they will continue to excel physically in the final third of the season. "The application of each player to fulfil their high energy and dynamic roles further improves their fitness and ability to achieve these physical peaks every game," Driscoll added. "It has this cascade affect that Brendan Rodgers' teams seem to have. They get better and better as the season progresses. "It starts with the mentality to comply with these demands, which in turn physically conditions the players to further excel. This bodes well for the run-in. We are in great condition." http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/liverpools-brendan-rodgers-demands-more-chelsea-real-madrid-managers-1438428 As I said Rodgers was supposedly demanding more than some of the top managers in Europe, I'll wait to see the evidence before I'll believe Klopp is doing more and that the players were not fit enough under Rodgers.
  24. Training was consistent and missing one day shouldn't affect a player that much. I'm assuming they were match fit as they had played several games at that point and they had been training for 3 months, I remember Gerrard saying in the past you should judge players around mid October as that's when they are fully match fit. As for those saying our fitness team wasn't getting praise they must be forgetting we went thought a season using about 13-15 players and were blitzing teams playing at a high tempo.
  25. You obviously didn't see the posts that were pulled up on this thread as there was one where I said I didn't rate him that much before he had even signed which was long before Rodgers was manager. And yes I did rate Downing and he should have been perfect for us that season, it was just the wrong timing. If he had joined when we had Xabi and Gerrard in midfield he would have been fine with the service he would have got, unfortunately for him he was playing with Adam and Spearing. He didn't have the mentality to be one of our main players but on pure ability he was a good player.
