  1. I dont know what Redknapp said I try to avoid Sky's 'punditry' But all Tyler did was point out an interesting stat for people who might not follow it as closely as us. He didnt accuse him of diving if I recall correctly. Think "witch-hunt" was a poor choice of words and just drew the wrong kind of attention to his statement
  2. Sami Skyrtl Stevie Masch's inclusion in a top 3 baffles me
  3. That would be great Mr Walsh (again if that was aimed at me...) ill take that for sure. You got a regular ticket source? Actually i dont know if you're offering a spare or offering to fix someone up if they get a spare for you
  4. If that was aimed at me then I'd definitely take it. ill be in the e-season ticket ballot on 30th and will try for the general sale as well but back up option always welcome
  5. and if i get to buy his ticket it could be a double whammy...
  6. well if you want the price of the ticket and a couple of scoops to lighten the blow then look no further... City are playin thursday evening as far as i know
  7. No its moved to a 3pm Sunday one last i checked. flight is at 7.45am so wouldnt matter much
  8. Fixture was changed from Saturday to Sunday 23rd Feb due to UEFA cup game Return flights only bout €40 all inclusive if you fly Sunday morning and return early/late Monday. Dont think Ryanair have copped it yet... Oh yeah and im one match ticket short so dont be shy if there's a spare and ill look after whoever obviously...
  9. I suppose our away fans could have a bash at "YOU built Stoke City on the long throw". would probably get a chuckle
  10. Not sure if Stoke themselves sing it but heard my mate singin' "We built Stoke City, we built Stoke City on the long throooow..." well if they dont they should..
  11. Just had a quick look and he seemed to be in the majority of the top 3's. there'll always be people who see different things, and people's expectations of him are so high I think he is sometimes overlooked for man of the match unless he obviously was (which he often is) Couldn't agree more with your take on his form though.
  12. Lack of options for a 3rd choice is my reason. pet hate of mine when people only give 2. thought he attacked reasonably well when he was on my side of the pitch. apart from his erratic crossing...
  13. Stevie Xabi Arbeloa (despite hitting the 1st/2nd man with nearly every cross)
  14. That prick with the fcuk rotation shirt was sat near me with his mate both wearing jester style hats as well! was sat too far from him to hear where his accent was from but i know there's lots of irish supporters clubs in that section (as i was with before) Had a cockney bloke sat behind me who cheered all our players names as they were called out til it got to Cavalieri at which point he thought it was hilarious to boo him. Very loud rendition of 'you're not singing anymore' around me too. which was about the only song any of them joined in with whole game On a positive note Lucas coming on was greeted with silence only, thought it would be worse. And Barmby acknowledged our applause in our corner when he was coming over take the free kick just before they go their first
  15. It adds unneeded pressure to him that he needs to do something early to avoid the 65th minute subbing (well it only puts it off til the 75th minute slot if he did) Anyway my point is its not like we're bringing on quality for him. Gerrard behind Torres in tougher matches then fair enough, but we're at home to West Ham, there's 30 mins left, Torres is out and the only striker (as Rafa sees it) on the bench is N'gog. for me its taking away an option for a goal rather than giving an alternative
  16. Im sure it sounds like im just sticking up for Keane cos im Irish but he's better than the alternatives we have on the bench and i dont think its a fitness thing that he's getting hauled off I just cant see how N'gog increases our chances of scoring. id be all in favour of bringing on someone for Keane (cos he was anonymous) if there was a decent chance of them doing something but N'gog is just not that guy At least there's a chance Babel might do something
  17. Keane was gash in the time he was on today, there's no getting away from that. but i see his potential to improve in the last 25/30 mins and possibly create a goal as a lot higher than N'gog's to have a positive impact Him being taken off routinely isnt helping him, but not an excuse for tonight, granted
  18. I just bought a fancard and e-season ticket and was checking what the story with Hull tickets was but it says 'forthcoming' Anyhoo, it says Marseille is 'on sale' and i think it would have let me purchase them. if i didnt have to work... Hope this helps
  19. would have finished behind arsenal and chelsea. fair point about facts in pubs though
  20. ha ha. not really. just sayin i agree with him from time to time but has an infuriating way of getting his point across.
  21. That would have made us finish 3rd  I feel Rashid makes some good points from time to time in a very repetitive fashion unfortunately
