You should really rename this forum: DefendCrouchNoMatterWhat. People should be allowed to have an opinion on him, without everybody slagging off the one person who speaks up. All of you people in here who just copy and paste what rafa says about Crouch being important for tactical reasons and for holding up the ball, please make up your own opinions and let other people have their own opinions. That being said, just for the record, I think Crouch has been a positive surprise.

exactly, you have proven my point, Zidane was/is a better footballer than Diego. You are probably right, it is because he was brought up with today's methods, but that doesnt matter when it comes to determining who is/was the best. Im glad we agree Zidane is better than Maradona ever was.

Maradona and Pele played in the stone age people. In 20 years everyone will keep telling us how fantastic Zidane was, just like you guys are going on about maradona. Maybe Maradona was better COMPARED to his opponents, but Zidane is a much better footballer, because he dominated a professional sport not the lazy kick the ball around and have some beers sport of that time.
