Replacing the old financial officer, who announced his personal decision to quit the role due to family reasons back in the winter, with another financial officer. Fucking hell talk about conspiracy theorists and people with a clear agenda towards FSG with absolutely no fucking reason. Have a word.

Comolli had been in the job 3 months. FSG had owned the club for 4 months. It's easy to see why the mistake happened. Doesn't justify it but to use it as something against Ayre (who was commercial director at the time), like some in here are attempting is ridiculous and agenda driven.

When Carroll was purchased, Ayre was commercial director. Doubt the commercial director has any input into deals. Sure people would moan if so.

Exactly how has this season been worse? Looking at the League only, we will finish higher in the table and with more points than last season.

Would you prefer if he started talking about knocking houses down within 60 days and making promises he knows the club may not be able to keep due to circumstances out of their control? Of course the club have a timescale set out and intended. Theyre just not going to tell the world because then people like you will start moaning if/when it doesn't go to plan because external factors that rely on other organisations playing their part. Dont let it get in the way of a good moan though.

Not sure how you can mock Howard Wilkinson. Responsible for Leeds' youth system in the 90s and recommended all this stuff to the FA 20 years ago. He knows his stuff when it comes to youth development. Pulis on the other hand.

Still find it bizarre that their fans were more bothered about getting rid of Kean than they were/are the Venky's. Similar situation to us surely? But we knew the bigger problem was Gillett and Hicks and that getting rid of them was priority.

Wrong. Achteburg was promoted to first team after Kelly left with Hodgson. It wasn't done by anyone really, just by default as Valero had left with Rafa and Kelly left with the Hodge. Problem was that Kenny didn't bring anyone in to actually replace and left Achteburg there.
