Some of the posters on this thread are just like the tabloids – playing down the positive and accentuating the negative. Yes, stacks of people chanted the JAR song vis-à-vis Alan Smith, but Smith got a thunderous reception when he left the field on a stretcher – applause also emanating from those who had previously chanted the JAR song, at least it was from where I was sitting in ME. Stop being miserable fuckers and get some perspective, or apply to join one of the tabloids.

Don’t let it get you down, the media do this all the time – banner headlines suggesting one thing but no actual quotes to back things up with. You should take a look at the mediawatch section of football365, there are loads of examples of this sort of thing.
