Not much to say, that was just brilliant. A perfect match. We're going to have a different challenge now. After the results this weekend, the times of being the 'dark horse' in the title-race is over. It's ours to lose now and based on recent results we must be regarded as favorites. That brings a lot of pressure, but I'm sure Brendan and the boys can handle that as well.

We will slaughter City at Anfield if they play like this. They insist on playing a very high line and loose the ball going forward a lot. Too bad the Scum midfielders are too shit to properly exploit that, they won't get that luxury against us.

Looks like Moyes has set them up to play as a Wenger-side.

I will have no trouble cheering if they beat City and help us in chasing the title. Will be more difficult for them I imagine.

I recon we don´t need to buy anyone. Brendans management-skills can turn any player into a world-class star in any position. Next year Borini will bomb forward from the left back, Jordan Ibe will ensure a record numbers of clean sheets as our goalie, and Suso will be our towering powerful center back.

I think it´s inevitable that he will be sacked before next season, so now I hope they will sack him after the Olympiakos - game. If they promote someone like Giggs to interim-manager they could get a lift of moods enough to take points off City.

I don´t think Brendan gets the credit he deserves. What he´s doing with Liverpool is absolutely fantastic. When he was appointed I was underwhelmed and critical, not just because he was relatively unknown, but because I was sorry for Kenny getting sacked. In hindsight I must admit it was the right decision, getting him is possibly the best "signing" for decades. He is one of the most talented managers in the world. Just look at the team we played today and you understand how important that is.

Obviously Gerrard is a better player than Lucas, he´s a better player than most! I´m absolutely delighted that Stevie has proven he can be a top class holding midfielder for us and I want him to continue in that role. But I can´t understand why the Lucas-bashing train has restarted because of this. Lucas has been brilliant for us in that role and we need several players for the same position. Hate the "I like this player, so that other player is shit" - attitude of some of our "fans".

Kinell. Just can't believe what's happening this season. Haven't felt as good about being a red since 2005, but wasn't expecting it at all.

Our goal difference is massively better, so it´s´practically 7 points.

Gutted about this result. We were by far the better team, but couldn't score. Arsenal are obviously pleased to win, but they must still feel a lot of uncertainty after this. They were outplayed at their own place.

What a shit game so far. Arsenal playing like an alehouse team, doesn't want the ball and hasn't created anything except the lucky goal. We started well and should have scored, but lost the plot later on. Lots of misplaced passes. Can still win this if we start performing to normal standard. Worried about the yellow cards though, Webb would love to send one of our players off.

Seems Arsenal have realised that our fulbacks are quite shit, so they can let them have the ball and concentrate on defending against our front three.

What a massive win! This result was as important as the win against them at the opening day. The pressure was immense before the match. We had dropped to sixth and was beaten on our last two away games. All the teams around us won yesterday. It´s Stoke away in pouring rain and gusting winds. But the lads scores five times and get the three points. Says something about the team, we cope so much better with pressure now than before.

Feel about as good as you can after losing. We gave them a good fight at their place, something nobody else have for a while. Was always going to be a tight game and we didn´t have the luck or margins to win it in the end. Would have deserved a point though. I think it was a big difference for them to get Zabaleta back in time for the game. He´s an important player for them and played well. Made it difficult for Coutinho defensively and got forward. Fortunately Cissoko played much better than I feared. MOM for me was no doubt Kompany. Was brilliant against Suarez and got the goal aswell. He´s just a class act when on form. Most of our boys deserve credit, but especially Allen and Sterling impressed.

Real blow that Flanagan is out. Just hope Kelly can come in and do a similar impression. I don´t want to see Kolo on the right back, he doesn´t look comfortable there at all. Johnson´s been a bit out of form lately, but a switch to the other side might do him good. He´s sometimes been better at the left than on the right before.
