Most forum boards, if not all, today doesn't even need this. The IP address is automatically logged for all posts, so you can even see if he is using different IP addresses etc. So now all Dave needs to do is post the IP address, and the geeks on here can have some fun ;-)

a Camcorder always has a 4 pin connection, whereas a PC either has a 4 or a 6 pin firewire connection. Now the easy part is if you have a Mac, then you always have a 6 pin connection on the PC.
