  1. Interestingly enough there is an electronics test company called Wayne Kerr, oh how I did laugh when I first used a Wayne Kerr spectrum analyser
  2. I would go with option number 1 also, simply because creating chances requires the whole team performing whereas the strike rate it down to well, the strikers. One piece in the jigsaw required hopefully. Edit: after reading your post properly, option number 2 would be the most worrying.
  3. What? We are not charged to play Cisse on the wing, how does this senario become strange?
  4. Brendon, why can't you give your opinion without calling our players derogatory names? Regardless of what you feel their value is to the team they are still playing in red and there should be a certain level of respect above childish name calling. I believe you continue to call them names to get people's back's up in order to get the attention you might not be getting elsewhere...
  5. Hello I'm clueless, It's the Manager's responsiblity to look after players' well being, not the CEO of the company.
  6. won't they be waiting for cartoons?
  7. it does and it's just an avatar not a huge kop banner
  8. I think it looks ok but the Liverpool Badge shouldn't have any nationalistic attachment, not even England. Stars and Stripes should be saved for Man Utd related stuff...before anyone says I'm from Liverpool living in USA....
  9. Mostly cheesy house listed there however good to see they have Voodooray listed, for me an all time classic. I think I'd put LFO up there too....Just a personal choice of course. Defo missing Energy Flash by Joey Beltram and lots of others but then they probably didn't play that down the high st. Don't know why they describe 92/93 as the golden years, that was when things started getting very commercial...maybe that is what they mean. Just for fun I'm downloading Energy Flash and Mentasm from limewire, hopefully they still sound as good as I remember
  10. on the Gerrard thing, if anyone needs resting it's Hyypia seeing as he's played more games than anyone else in the league. What is wrong with accepting that Gerrard had a slight knock and wasn't worth risking for 90mins.
  11. I don't know why but I think that number is probably some kind of wind up and this fella is a manc.
  12. yeah I wouldn't feel comfortable having Finnan trot all the way across the field to take a corner, a quick counter after corner and we're exposed. Seeing as Alonso is pretty good at hitting a ball I wonder if he'd be any better. Certainly needs to be some variation, I'm sure they're working on it on the training field though.
  13. well they didn't go there for success so it has to be money.
  14. I think the under soil heating warming the pitch up made it a bit sloppy, also didn't they play a Rugby League game there recently? There should be a better criteria that clubs have to meet for a pitch inspection, it seems like if it's not frozen then it's ok to play in the FA's book.
  15. hmm about 14 yrs ago I might have listened to something like that, these days I cringe when I hear 'Dance' music...sad thing is it hasn't changed in about 14 yrs either. Last Album bought : Depeche Mode, Playing the Angel
  16. man utd supporting mates, that can't be right surely
  17. I used PPLive for the Birmingham and Chartlon games and the feed was suprisingly good, I think on some you can get English commentary but I was stuck with Chinese. The broadcast seems to be about 5 mins behind so you can't sync the commentary with something else. I think it would be good to have a place listing all the links but is it legal and would the site be held accountable? Question for the owners I suppose
  18. I agree with that, the thing is there was a hell of a lot of room for improvement. When it looked like he was going to sign for Everton and then it never materialised his form seemed to come on leaps and bounds but was always still prone to the odd silly mistake. I don't think anything has changed now, he still looks a little awkward (some says bambi on ice) and my heart is in my mouth when he has possession in and around the 18yd box. What we need is a left sided Steve Finnan and the defence would be completely balanced. Out of Warnock, Djimi and Riise I'd probably pick Riise but we all know how bad he can be defensively too.
  19. I've just had a flashback to ynwa.tv and it wasn't pretty
  20. I'm sure this has been covered before on this forum but the figures only include about a month's worth of CL winning merchandise revenue due to the financial year ending in something like June 05
  21. John Barnes played Left midfield though, also I remember Stevie Nicol playing right back mainly.
  22. I don't know if I've forgiven Souness or I'm in complete denial but I really try to remember him as a footballer and after hearing the news I was a little disappointed although that was because there will be some big Newcastle fan revival now which I could do without
  23. This thread as gone from who you would bring back if you could to a top 4 all time favourite players :) I assume bring back and play in this current team so I'd choose Rush as I'm sure with the chances we've created (despite not having a true right winger) he would be putting them away. All time (top 4 now it seems) players :- 1.Dalglish, even as player manager he was my childhood hero 2.John Barnes, the best left winger I've seen in a Liverpool shirt 3.Graeme Souness, for me still the best central mid we've had 4.Ronnie Whelan, great all round player and scorer of wonderful goals against the mancs
  24. no kids but I did name my dog Kenny, since I'm now living in USA Kenny Dog leesh is quite fitting.
