    Good post Skids. There are some annoying posters on the MF, just as there are some on the FF. What you don't get on the MF are the blatant Wums and the level of debate is better on there, not because the paying members are better than the non paying, but because there are less people on a windup and abusive behaviour isn't tolerated. I don't get why some people have to pigeon hole all Gold members or all Red members. We are all members of the site after all and should try to get along.

    Yeah that is all true, and I, like many others, used to donate a bit before the membership was introduced. But clearly, some members do only pay to access the MF, which is fine. It is a pretty big bonus.

    Yeah have it as an amnesty thread then, as long as people aren't abusive I see no need to neg. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Some fair points there, it's not like that on the MF really, people disagree all the time. The main difference is abuse isn't tolerated on there, so there are less threads descending into everyone being called a cunt.

    Just curious really about a few things after reading the other thread. I was wondering why some good posters who used to be Gold members haven't renewed? People like NV, Big Green Bastard, Shoepiss, Anny Road, TK-421( I know you have posted why in the other thread ) etc... And of course why a few posters who are on here a lot have never joined at all? I don't mean this to have a go at anyone just genuinely curious and I know not everyone can afford it or maybe they have joined and found the MF to not be as good as they hoped. Can we try not to let this descend into arguments and name calling please, if you feel you can't post without having a go at someone then just leave it, or at least try and put your point across respectfully.

    Fair enough mate, if I'm after a light beer I'd rather have a Coors or a Desperados. Just don't like it at all. There are only a few bottles I just can't bring myself to drink, Corona, Becks ( I like Becks Vier, just not the bottles ), Stella and Bud.

    I first had Sam Adams in a hotel I was staying in for work in Suffolk about 8 years ago. I like it, very nice. Nothing to do with it being from Boston?

    Yeah got a bottle ( big bottles mind, 750ml ) in Tesco a few months ago. Tasted like Carling.

    Fruit in beer is bad enough, but if it is in shit like Corona or Sol I can just about ignore it. But in fucking Hoegaarden? How could you spoil a fine beer like that with fruit.

    Talking about Flares on the Corona thread got me thinking, I love Mathew Street, me. Gets a bad press from some people but it's ace. You've got boss pubs like the Cavern pub, Flanagans and the absolutely mental Grapes. Get your fill of cheesy music in Flares, The Rubber Soul, The Tube, Boogie Nights or the elusive Night Fever ( Which only seems to be open twice a month ), and a bit of live music in The Cavern or the aforementioned Cavern Pub. And well less knobheads than the other end of town to boot. I've probably forgot a few places as well. I have also pulled birds ( of varying quality ) back to ours in The Tube, Boogie Nights, Lennons Bar, The Rubber Soul and Flares. Any advances on that?

    The good thing about Flares is that you feel like you can pull any woman in there, due to you being half their age, and you also feel a lot more handsome than the men, due to them being double your age. Get loads of Eastern European men in there as well, must like the 70's cheese.
