I must admit i know little about the running of the football club, but how can all that be blamed on Parry? Does he have free reign to throw more money at players to get them to sign, or does he not have to get permission from the board, or even carry out the boards wishes? Its not Parrys money. I doubt he is allowed to say to a player or a club "Ok we will give you x amount more".

Crouch has never been known for his aerial ability. Hes actually better on the ground. Had he got players bombing up the wings he could be holding the ball up and feeding it to them. hes not bad in the air. In fact hes hard to beat in the air. I doubt Rafa signed him just for his height though. Wingers dont have to put in high crosses.

Hes right though. Crouch isnt a big "english style" centre forward.

I was shocked at that. I expected him to come out full of anger at the worst refereeing decision ever. Instead he smiles from ear to ear, and goes on about the great point they had got, rather than the two they had been robbed of. Couldnt believe he was happy with that game.

Collymore was a record signing at the time. By quite a bit too i think (£5m Sutton to Blackburn before that was it????) Roy Evans was a big spender. He was given the money. Would he have done better with more money? Probably. You could say that about any manager. But he was given big money to spend and mostly spent it badly. Give him more he may have spent that badly too. Either way, i dont think he would ever have brought us the success we wanted.

This is what i have been saying, and have been argued with on other forums. Only Rafa decides what players he wants, and only Rafa can say how much the players are worth. Parry cannot go throwing more money at clubs in an effort to get them to sell. That is over ruling Rafas opinion of a player and his worth. Parry has not scouted the players and probably doesnt know that much about them. Hes not going to agree to pay an extra £5m, or even more in Owens case, if Rafa doesnt rate them at that price.

That was so bad. No wonder they say we are stupid.

While it is all down to sectarian hatred, the truth is that there is always trouble after Celtic v Rangers. Whichever side loose, their fans drunk from watching the match in the pub and attack the other side. Sad but true that most poeple in Northern Ireland support Celtic or Rangers for religious reasons and nothing else. A large number of them dont even like football but "support" their team as they support the paramilitary groups.

Great Great penalty save. Got in the right place for Shevas header, and got up in time for his second attempt. The dude will be remembered for a long long time!

I heard Andy Townsend was a disgrace. Couldnt congratulate us and says Dudek shouldnt take any credit for the double save.

I was going to fly over at the weekend for this. Slightly disappointed, but too happy to care!!

JP2 was a big Dudek fan. Still is im sure. He must be smiling now :)
