ok im a little drunk and i really hate these petition things but was reading the forums and started thinking what if someone started a petition saying we'd boycott the club (i havent a clue how to do this) if G & H got their loan and put us into debt and send it to the bank they're applying to. cant remember the name but i think its been mentioned in the papers. i know it would never happen but it would be a nice bluff all the same. if it was anything like the number of signatures on the rafa petiton surely it should have some sway because we would be the ones who in reality would be paying back the loan

what i cant understand is why he never gives these youngsters a enough games i remember galatasaray away last year in a meaningless game and there was only 1 or 2 debuts and i think carragher was there too. theres too many things that i cant understand about rafa. yeah the squad is unbelievably superior to houlliers last one and we actually expect to beat some of europes top sides now instead of hope but he moans about having no money then spends 5m on a young cm which is our strongest position and 11m on a young striker only to play him wide but then not really play him at all. but i think the worst thing is playing players while out of form. i know its a bit of a cliche to slag kuyt at the moment but i honestly cant understand why he always gets more time than say babel who consistently does more in 15 mins than dirk in the whole game. i just cant make up my mind about him. sometimes i think legend. but just as much im cursing at him for not making the most obvious substitution untill theres 15 mins left quality avtar stu i fuckin love the zapatistas

to be honest he hasnt made many unbelievable saves. and it is frustrating the way some teams can create just one chance against us and still score. but usually when you take him out of the team we defend shit. i remeber against luton in the cup i think he was suspended and we were shocking at the back. and i think but i might be wrong that villareal had the best defence in spain for some of the years when he was there if someone wants to check it out? its no coincidence really. but one thing that i cant fuckin get my head around is that hes probably the best peno stopper in shoot outs but has he ever saved one during a game? im not sure but i dont think so fuckin quality keeper but hardly player of the year or best in the world as some people say

its not so much as a protest or a mosiac that i'm thinking of just maybe non stop chanting of rafas name for as long as possible. at anfield against porto especially. everyone remembers the noise we made against arsenal in the cup when the whole stadium was singing for justice for the 96. the whole stadium chanting rafas name loudly will be enough of a statment of support. not to mention it will sound amazing and hopefully create another great atmosphere in a game we really need to win

although it will probably be done anyway id like to ask anyone going to the game to sing rafas name for the whole 90 minutes. and again against porto at anfield. its the only thing we can do but if the support is loud enough and the singing goes on long enough i think everyone concerned will get the message on where the fans stand on this

i really dont think we're gonna sign anyone else to play out wide it would nice to sign quaresma of course but its not gonna happen. i'm pretty happy we signed babel and benayoun though if you compare them to our 2 wide signings last year - pennant and gonzalez - its a fuckin huge step up in quality i'm not complaining

ok i kind of knew i´d get hammered for that post but i´m just giving my honest unbiased opinion and fuck it i dont really give a shit if i get slaughtered and i really hope my first impressions are wrong and judging by the previous winners of that award they probably are i´m getting more and more cynical with new signings these days. i really wanted us to sign dirk last summer after seein him on eurogoals every week and when i saw him play at the world cup i just put it down to a bad performance, played out of position ect but thats exactly what we got from him all season. and with pennant i was convinced he was shit but thought i´d give rafa the benefit. ok he´s played ok but he´s still shit. i´m just trying not to be bias towards us and looking at us the way i would any other team. if you do that you´ll realise a few things and most of them you wont like

yossi is quality plain and simple. how many players do we have now that has his creative quality? i´d say stevie and garcia on a good day. so whats the problem?

first of all did any of yous see the game? and i´m pretty sure he wasnt south american player of the year cos riquelme has been pretty special this year. i´m just giving my honest opinion after the game i reckon you can tell pretty easily if a lad can really play and he just didnt show anything. ok maybe his head wasnt really in it cos he´s joining us but surely the lads gotta show some character, its the copa libatores final for fucks sake he didnt even want the ball. ok maybe i´m being a bit harsh on the lad he obviously is a decent player but what i´m saying is that i dont think he´s good enough for our midfield, how the hell is he gonna break into that midfield without weakening the team, and for 5m when we dont have much money i´m sorry but it really is a head scratcher

did anyone see the second leg of the final the other night? i´m pretty gutted with lucas he´s just not gonna make it. i know people might say give him a break it was only one game etc but i think the lad has to have something special to compete for a place in our midfield and by the look of it he hasnt. he went missing for the whole game, couldnt deal with bocas midfield, he was chasing shadows all game and the worst thing i thought was that he didnt really demand the ball which i think is what the central midfielder should do. he does run around a lot and has a lot of energy and likes to shoot so maybe thats why rafa likes him and obviously he has something about him to make rafa want him and to be voted the best player in the league but after seeing the game i´m absolutely baffled why we signed him. the boy on the left for gremio lucio is a smashing player and he looks young too, everything goes through him, to me he´d look a better bet and we actually need wingers

the thing about reina which makes himm such a good keeper is that he makes the back four play so much better and a lot of people seem to forget this. think back to when dudek, kirkland or carson was in, the defence were always so indesicive. even carragher but you can see the difference with reina. they have so much confidence in him to come out and deal with a situation that it makes them play so much better. okay he is always going to make some mistakes but its usually because hes not afraid to make a decision and snuff out the danger so early that people take his contribution for granted. i think he's top quality and is so important for us
