There’s a very nice place to go if you want something different, Rosa bonheur, à la porte jaune, in the Bois de Vincennes. It’s 10 mn ride from nation. It’s a bar on a lake, it’s outdoor and it looks like a small square in the village. Very peaceful.

It’s not hot but it’s still warm enough to wear shorts … and you’ll save money as well, don’t need to drink as many ice cold beers !

Cours de Vincennes is one km long boulevard , hard to fence him, it they start the job soon . I’ll have a look tomorrow , it’s not far from where I live.

Lots of small bars as I said on boulevard voltaire with terraces. 10 mn far by feet there is a huge Irish pub =Patrick’s / ballon vert = 33 rue de Montreuil, great place but the ale expensive. I might be there selling old issue of the fanzine ….

No idea mate …. What you could you is go to bois de Vincennes with your booze and mates to and then go to the fan zone !

It’s pretty easy and fast to go to Nation (Cours de Vincennes) from every where in Paris. From Nation, on Boulevard Voltaire, you will find bars every where …

There might be a strike on RER A as well on Saturday. I guess all the drivers want to to enjoy the day at tjr Fan zone, who could blame them….

For those traveling on RER B on sunday back to CDG airport, well , you won’t …. It’s closed between Gare du Nord and the airport. So you’ll have to a take an Air France bus from Nation / Madeleine / Montparnasse or get a taxi / Uber / whatever. There might a strike Saturday, typical French cunts …. It’s bank holiday Thursday, and many people will « make the bridge » to get a 4 days weekend. As much as you can, enjoy food and wine down here, it’s the best place in the world for that. Restaurants could be a bit expensive, but you go to a supermarket, you buy some charcuterie ( ham and sausage ), cheese, some wine, real glasses and you go out for a picnic on the banks of the Seine River, Bois de Vincennes which is really close to cours de Vincennes / Nation where the fanzone will stand , or jardin du Luxembourg.

Usually no prob, lots of people drink or eat on the Banks of Seine, it’s popular and really great. At the Tuileries, the posh garden you mention, it’s ok if it’s quiet and not loud.
