  1. I´m sorry to say this, but I really don´t care if Michael Owen goes to the mancs. I also don´t care if he comes back to us. Thing is he is not as good as when he left us. I´m yet to hear him say how much he wants to play for Liverpool. Instead he may go to the mancs because Rafa hasn´t asked him to come back. That´s some loality. I care no more for the signing of Owen than the signing of Heinze. Owen had it all, and he fucked it up.
  2. Can you post a link? Cheers
  3. Cool...we get him for free then!
  4. I went for Torres, but I don´t think we´ll pay that much for him. Maybe some fees based on app. and success? Anyway, its not my money being spend (well actually it is), but for £24 m. I´d still sign him.
  5. I think he is ver good, but doesn´t really deliver in the big games. Credit and respect for staying loyal to Roma!
  6. Don´t want Capello cause his a cunt. Good for him that he´ll leave Real with pride and showing those fools how to do it. I still think he´ll leave, but none of the top teams in Italy needs a new manager so he might just hang around for another season, but only because he is not needed else where? Also A. Madrid missed out on the UEFA cup, so Torres is on the move?
  7. That might be, but Rafa also said that he wanted to buy at the right price. Maybe that´s why the 2 players that was ready to sign after Athens never did? If Rafa values Malouda at £10 m. then he won´t pay £17 m. IF Rafa is frustrated then it might be course of clubs holding us for ransome instead of him not having the financial support by the americans? If he does meet Malouda´s pricetag at £17 m. then what will he have to pay for a top striker? We´re not West Ham! We haven´t missed out on any of our proposed targets (yet). I won´t worry before Rafa makes another statement like in Athens.
  8. I´m happy about that draw, but we could drops points at Villa. Uniteds first 2 month are hard so we should make a better start than them. Yes...I´m desperate for us to finish above them. They have: Reading (H) Portsmouth (A) City (A) Tottenham (H) Sunderland (H) Everton (A) Chelsea (H) Birmingham (A) http://www.fixtures365.com/
  9. Yes and now I´m of to see the little mermaid
  10. Indeed he would, but if the Americans are true to their word then maybe we can afford him? I say again, so fare its only speculation that we´re skint. Here´s to hoping
  11. Oh yes:thumbsup: Interesting news and I hope its all true, but that´s a lot for Malouda. However, if it really is true then we must have a lot of money to spend?
  12. Now I really think Bascombe is doing Rafa a favour regarding our transferbudget: "West Ham look destined to be the Premiership’s biggest spenders this summer and having been warned off Everton’s Andrew Johnson, Alan Curbishley has turned his attention to Bellamy." http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0500liverpoolfc/0100news/tm_headline=kop-trio-set-to-sign%26method=full%26objectid=19260502%26siteid=50061-name_page.html
  13. Really good news! An indication of Rafa not needing to raise cash for his top targets?
  14. Injuries could still be an issue next season? However, I agree to some extent, but whose to say we can´t have both? We need a top striker, but our wide men have not been good enough for years so to me that is also important to improve. I still think that there´s significant cash to spend and that we´ll get a top striker this summer. Its only speculation that there isn´t much cash for Rafa. All that there´s come out from the club has been promising. Until Rafa complaines (again) I´ll trust things to come good.
  15. Getting him for 8-9 mill. and selling Gonzalez for 5 mill. is a good cheap improvement. Malouda, the first of many new faces....for sure.
  16. I think that´s harsh. He is after all a French international whose got plenty experience from being at a big club, playing in big matches and against the best in Europe. He will be first choice on the left if we get him.
  17. I would be happy to get Malouda! Big name or not, he is still a better winger than what we currently have at the club.
  18. Any news in this? No estamos interesados.
  19. Macia is no doubt Rafa´s man. If Rafa is upset at the currently lack of activity and the prospect of "loosing" Alves I think Macia would have told the news differently? However, he doesn´t rule out a move for Alves completely does he? "In football you can never say never but at the moment we’re not interested." It seems first on the list is a top striker. At least I would hope so.
  20. We seem to forget we have signed Lucas for 8 mill., who is a reel gem if we´re to believe the things we´re told. Maybe a signing that could be compared to Nani or Anderson, only we got him half price? That has to be a positive indication that there´s significant money at Rafa´s disposal. Why else pay that much for a player we probably didn´t really need?
