Personally, and even taking account of Suarez, I think our overall hit-rate has been extremely poor since the last couple of years of Rafa's time. Clearly, changing managers regularly and an absence/constant revision of strategy haven't helped either.
Until such time as we go down the Manchester City route in terms of ownership, Liverpool managers (and club officials) will always be subject to a more forensic and unforgiving analysis of their dealings than the current top four.
