  1. according to the telegraph hes playing in games with seniors in practice either they are being extra careful before he starts or Rafa is going to do something unexpected for the chelsea game which the article suggests hes considering
  2. dont they additional businesses attached to the club? like the hotel village or whatever its callled.probably explains some of their high turnover
  3. by hermes definition of a striker then dalglish was shit after 1983 as he never scored more then 10 in the league.................
  4. now is that worth £10 of anyones money? after recent form anyone else getting that feeling like last years european cup that this year might just be the one? A defeat for chelsea this weekend could put us just six points off the pace.
  5. Is it really such an outrageous idea that cisse may be moved on? He never was a Rafa signing and that quote about this time last year was that people at valencia were raving about what a good player he was and enquirys about his position were made. He never said he personally wanted to buy him. While it true that it takes time to adjust to a new league and team and the disruption that the injury caused has to be taken into account, Rafa will have seen plenty on the training ground as to whether Cisse fits into his vision of a team. You can find positive agruements for why Cisse was played on the right the other day.....or why he might be played there tomorrow if you believe other forums.....but if we do get owen and a new RM what then? Cup tied? He may not be a priority to be moved on just yet but if a suitable large bid comes in.....( and just because GH says today its wrong we should believe its gospel shouldnt we) i would not be surprised if we took it.
  6. I really do have some sympathy for GH.He's been underfire for most of the season with a team, aside from the usual suspects, whose confidence appeared shot.Yet despite this he has managed to turn around results, albeit at the very last possible moment , to achieve champions league qualification. If the team had been playing as they have done over recent games we would have secured fourth spot along time ago and been challenging maybe not the arse but certainly the other 2 teams. But they havent or didnt and thats the real point isnt it? A squad almost exclusively constructed by the man has failed.Yes the players must look to themselves as having let down the club but what part does the manager who brought them in and failed to bring their best out take? What words can you use to describe not just the first but a second season where the manager fails not only to challenge for the epl but his own previous successes? As fans we dont expect a full report on what he thought went wrong but we do deserve a little truth or should that be reality?Compare recent comments from both SG and MO.Why is it then so difficult for the boss to concede what we as the fans know?A little more honesty and he would gain the respect of a lot more of us.Might not change peoples minds over who they wish to be in the hot seat next season but his self justifications and spinning of facts are destroying what little credibility he has.
  7. I wouldnt be surprised if morgan had already anticipated that this offer would be rejected. Pretty sure there are a few more rounds to be played out yet.
