    11 visible skill upgrades? Thats amazing, sure thats like signing a new player for free with the combined skill. I got three visible upgrades and 2 downgrades so not happy that but then out of the 3 change reports i've had this year none have been good! I see you have 18mil to spend as well; that should help bring in some quality players.I have 4 mil but am only hoping to add to that if i can shift a few on first and then buy a good defender!

    This really is a strange old game. Had a super result 3-1 away to Longball town with all players getting very good ratings (all above their skill level) yet almost all my players lost form following the match!

    Robbie is right at one stage i took on 3 teams and was playing games almost everyday what with friendlies and that and was seriously losing interest eventhough i thought it would be the opposite with the more teams i had. I have now cut out most friendlies and am really into it even if it can be frustrating sometimes when you lose games you should definitly win but then maybe thats the attraction as its sometimes unpredictable!

    Yeah no bother, look forward to it, but like you said we'll wait til after the update. Won the match to stay up, with the other team going down eventhough it was the first time all season they were in the bottom 3! I won 5, drew 1 and lost 1 of the last 7 games since taking over so fairly happy. Only downside is the teams form was so shit before i took over even with the run they have had i say a good few are in for a downgrade in skill level unfortunately!

    I've a really big game in the expert league this evening. 2 Points above the relegation zone but playing the team 1 place below me with the 3rd from bottom team playing the worst team in the league. Anyone of us could still go down and I've two suspensions and injuries to key players going in to it! Second time in a few weeks having injuries and suspensions going into a relegation decider! Will know in about an hour, hopefully i'll stay up as I'd say a full season with this team will bring them on a lot.

    I backed it with PaddyPower and got it at 13/2 insure bet which meant i got my money back for it coming second. Often like doing bets like this if i don't fancy putting down double for an each way. At the time i placed the bet they were only offering 15/2 for the outright win so thought it was worth the small reduction for the extra security!

    Some good results this week for my teams. Felix had a super win 7-0, didn't think they had it in them after there pre-season form although got an injury now that will bring my average age down to about 23 for the next month or so. Mt team in the expert eleven also had a good win which will hopefully see them avoid the drop and then start to build for next year!

    In relation to teh penalty decision last night before I start I would like to say that i too thought it was harsh and for the player himself very dissapointing as he will not miss the biggest game of his career. Does anyone else not think it's ironic that after the Spurs game Ferguson came out and said the Gomes incident wasn't a penalty but that's football and these decisions even themselves out over the season. However last night he was going mad about the same sort of incident. Surely it wasn't just because it happened to go against his team on this occasion? :whistle:

    I wasn't involved last year but the league process does look very short and if you get knocked out early you have to wait a hell of a long time for another competitive game while your players only get 6 games before gettin a year older. Must be very hard to get a good squad together especially if the form is not great because there probably isn't enough time to improve it. The 2 league system does seem better as it will give everyone at least 14 games a season with both finalists having 18.

    Yeah 1 team gets very boring as not enough teams but more than 3 gets too much. So the balance is somewhere in between. i was on the site earlier and just looking through some manager stats and some guy had 5 teams, the maximum i think with them all playing regularly. How would you get time to do anything else?

    Yeah i think some of the team is very good but keepers are shite! Just looked at the stats and I think I have the worst keeper in all the divisions. Only problem is I'm broke so it'll be mid season at least before I can afford one as I don't want to sell any of the decent players i already have!

    Felix are just gone to shit now, whatever has happened! Super start last season when i took over but have now gone a run of 6 straight defeats. I fucked up buying the young striker last year eventhough he has scored two goals in last two games as the team is just way to young now! Last year the team was too old until I got notice that the captain was retiring and since i sold the shit old keeper that I had the oldest team i can field using any sort of decent system is about 25! Although on a positive note hopefully if i can struggle through this year the team will be all the better for it as I have plenty of players about 22 who should definitly keep improving!

    That's the Ultra sorted in terms of a start date. Does anyone know when the CL is due to start up again? It's not really the same playing friendlies all the time!

    Yeah that looks fine to me. As others have already said the 8 team league is probably best in order to keep everyones interest. Any decision made in relation to the number of promotion and relegation slots? Probably best to stick with 2 up 2 down if only 8 in each league.

    What's the story with all the 6 bar teenagers coming on over the last day or two? I must have a useless youth team as i haven't had the privilege of promoting any youngsters since i came into the Panzer team and have only been offered players on 3 bar or 21 year olds with 4 bars! Also haven't even been offered one of these shit kids in 27 days, they won't even give me the honour of telling them to fuck off! :telloff: I was forced to pay over 3mil for a 4 bar 16 year old forward player who it has turned out has been ok since i signed him but really thought he'd get an extra bar in the change but not to be so think i'll stick to experience in the transfer market in future!

    Well done! My team have turned from a team scoring 10 goals in 2 league games into a team who have lost the last four! Those two injuries i got towards the end of the year along with the captain retiring has really desimated my squad and has resulted in a team playing with an average age of about 23 for the last couple of games. I think it's going to be a hard struggle this year but lots of decent young players who should be excellent in a season or two!
