Him and Moreno were the best players on the pitch first half. Sahko made one bad mistake in the second admittedly but otherwise was good again. Give him and Lovren a bit of time to sort things fully out. Chopping and changing will only increase the potential for mistakes.

I remember watching a tv montage of Cisse's Auxerre goals one night when we'd just been linked to him. He scored every type of goal for them and I thought at the time we were signing a superstar. One of the volleys he hit where he watched the ball drift on to his foot and battered it across goal was unreal. I think the hit to his confidence of not making it here, plus the injuries, meant he never played like his Auxerre days again.

I've a feeling it's far more likely for us to end up with all of Bertrand, Bony and Lovren than it is to sign just one of the the better players we're linked with ie Moreno, Benzema or Reus. Complete waste of probably the largest transfer budget we've ever had.

I walked past Aspas on my way to work when he'd just signed and was staying at a hotel. He was waiting to be picked up for training with pacheco and Alberto. Lallana and Lambert's combined fee could buy you Strootman this summer. Improving the midfield this year and would also be getting someone in capable of stepping into Gerrards role over the coming years.
