http://slashdot.org <- it's one of the biggest news sites in the world, lots of geeky stuff. I have no idea why people'd be more interested in photography than footie, but I imagine Photography has a world-wide appeal, whilst Football has a more limited appeal, in terms of global catchment area.

As most of you will have noticed, TLW was down for about 12 hours. this was because Slashdot linked to an article on my Photocritic site, which runs on the same server as TLW. Because of this, we had 12 times more traffic than normal, and the server ground to a halt instantly. To try and get everything back up, I shut down the whole server for a short period, and tried a series of different things to get everything back up to speed, but all to no avail. My apologies, and I think it's unlikely to happen again soon. Welcome back, all!
