  1. They were shite as they were last time at Anfield when we tore them apart. More or less the same team for them.
  2. The sad thing is the spin from the bunch of chancers who run LFC trying to save their own skin will be "Not a bad start after all. Two wins. Clean sheet away at Arsenal. West Ham have just gone away to champions elect and beat them and who expected anything at Old Trafford anyway? A famous draw at Bordeaux as well" City absolutely battered West Ham and it was a freak game where West Ham defended for their lives and City were sloppy in front of goal. West Ham outplayed us for 90 minutes and won 3-0 in the easiest win they'll have all season. The whole second half was played in West Ham's half yesterday. We didn't even create a chance.
  3. Not really. He just doesn't give a fuck about him because the committee bought him so he'd rather make a point by giving Lovren every chance instead (a player he personally wanted). If the committee buy a player he has to be near enough perfect like Coutinho or a fit Sturridge, or he's never going to be fair with you. Same way Lallana will probably be ahead of Firmino, which makes you wonder why the bollocks did we pay 30 mill for him?
  4. Why've we spent £29m on Firmino who seems to be behind Coutinho and Lallana in his position yet we're still starting fucking Lucas Leiva in the engine room? It's just absolutely farcical because we wuoldn't buy a proper CM. Lallana pops up with the odd goal but that aside he's just a nothing player and a total waste of money.
  5. Yet he'll be back out the side again at the weekend so the fucking tit can bring in the worst centre half we've had in decades to prove some kind of stupid point.
  6. That's Ludogorets, Basle, Besiktas, Besiktas, Bordeaux and our reserves in Madrid. We did beat Besiktas at home although we were outplayed and won by a late pen, which should have won us the tie. Our budget is a million miles ahead of the others apart from Madrid and we didn't deserve to win any of them and got outplayed by Basle and Besiktas to go out of Europe last season. He's absolutely clueless. We should surely be able to sneak out this group though, but we'll need a change of manager for knockouts to have a hope of getting much further.
  7. There is young talent at the club to utilise for a manager who knows his arse from his elbow. Rodgers will ruin the likes of Can, Gomez, Ibe and Moreno. You know Sakho will be straight back out the team so the ego can put his pet Lovren back in as he keeps trying to prove he knew best all along. That Bordeaux team were fucking dreadful.
  8. It's partly why Rafa was such an important coach for him. I don't think he's got much of a grasp on tactics. He played purely on instinct and needed to be micro-managed at certain times, although his best match winning moments were when he did play off instinct. If he had a Harry Redknapp with a basic 442 and 'just let them play' approach then he might have won footballer of the year but he wouldn't have won trophies. He just couldn't see it that Hodgson was a fraud.
  9. We weren't winning those games with possession football. That Newcastle 6-0 was pure counter attack. Rodgers hasn't got a clue how to implement possession football. We're clueless at keeping the ball (unless it's passing it around at the back not being pressed). What's worked for Rodgers has been fast counter attacking football, but there's hardly any pace left.
  10. Ayre's trying to convince Stevie to text Jurgen Klopp to ask him out for us. This is what's causing the hold up.
  11. If he needed a social worker rather than a football manager than that's not Rafa's fault though. Rafa's job was to get the best out of Steven Gerrard as a footballer and he did that better than anyone else. Bob Paisley was very cold (just ask David Fairclough) but he was a brilliant football manager. To be fair Gerrard acknowledges his ability, but the whole needing an arm around the shoulder business is all very childish. He needed to man up a bit.
  12. What he said Keys was he was at some dinner and Rodgers came out and said the committee foisted Balotelli on him, but he's reading Gerrard's book and Gerrard said Rodgers came to him and told him "i'm going to sign Balotelli because I think I can make it work" so Keys said he's being economical with the truth to pass the buck. The reality of it is it appealed to Rodgers' ego to be the one who could get the best out of Balotelli and whatever dickhead in the committee who suggested him knew that.
  13. Rodgers hasn't played any real attacking football in the last 12 months anyway.
  14. Rodgers has to go. He had to go in the summer, he has to go now. if FSG balls up the next appointment then they have to go with him because they've got every decision wrong on the footballing side for too long.
  15. One of the first things he tried to do was swap Henderson and money for Dempsey. If he'd done that and we didn't get Sturridge then he wouldn't have lasted that first season because we'd have been bottom half.
  16. Yep. Overloading the squad with number 10s and 9s and persisting with 4-3-3 shows just how full of shit he is. Especially when one of those 9s and one of those 10s are stuck wide in the 4-3-3 when all logic beforehand suggested it was a diamond which would have actually had players in the positions they're good at (Milner wide, Firmino attacking midfield, Ings up front, Benteke with actual support). Absolute shithouse tactics designed to protect Lovren because he signed the useless cunt. Why play as cowardly as that if you couldn't organize a defence if your life depended on it. And they're fucking shit United.
  17. Judging by his previous interviews he'll blame the fans for not getting behind Hodgson. I really don't get him when it comes football managers. The quote abut if only Rafa had Rodgers' man-management skills is as insulting as it's laughable (Same with the if only Rodgers had been manager the last 10 years i'd have loads of titles). Just because Rodgers spent three years kissing Gerrard's hoop doesn't make him a good man-manager. He's fell out with and alienated more players than Rafa ever did, even if Rafa could be awkward. Rodgers was in awe of Gerrard. Rafa's a better manager than Rodgers could dream of being but Gerrard seems to equate good management with how much smoke gets blown up his backside.
  18. Yes because he's done more damage over a longer period of time. Hodgson was out the door before he'd done much damage (bar writing a season off) and only signed three players. The last 15 games are probably worse than Hodgson's in terms of performances (staggeringly) and they are in terms of results (staggeringly). And I remember saying on here at the time that September to December in 2014 was a bad a few months as i'd seen from us in terms of performances and results right up to that 3-0 at OT where we started performing better. To actually top that in the next calendar year with 15 worse games back to back (and even be given the chance to) shows what a fraud he is. If Hodgson had 4 years though he'd have probably ruined us, although he couldn't have done worse with £300m. Rodgers is now making us the laughing stock we were under Hodgson again though. Only at my most heartless would I even wish the two of them on Everton and United (Which is now)
  19. 6-1 at fucking Stoke. Humiliation at Wembley getting out-thought by Tactics Tim Sherwood (who were then shown up in the final as the bag of shite they are). 3-0 at home to West ham who hadn't beat us here for 50 years. Two dreadful performances and defeats to a bang average United side due to amateurish tactics in both games. Losing at relegated Hull without a shot on goal after a 0-0 at WBA with barely a shot on goal. Getting well beaten and played off the park by Crystal fucking Palace in Gerrard's last home game, with Pardew doing a number on him for the second time last season in the league. Spending £30m on a number 10 (as if we needed another one) and shoving him wide. Spending £32m on a target man to lump the ball to and leave isolated while still banging on about a possession game. 150k a week for a poor man's Dirk Kuyt in Milner and guaranteeing him a game at CM where he's crap. Jordan Henderson made captain. That's just the last 15 games. You can go back to the omni-shambles of those 6 CL games last season and then Billic having him off in the Europa League with a shit Besiktas team in a competition we should have competed in. Our worst start to a season in 50 years by December. Sorry but it's arguably now even worse than Hodgson after all the money and time invested in this total fraud. Hodgson signed three players and lasted six painful months. The last six months have been just as painful and FSG have gambled their ownership on this chancer having any substance to all his bullshit and dossiers.
  20. Was Bob Paisley a mong for saying "let a player lose his legs on someone else's pitch" as he kept us at the top by regularly freshening things up? Gerrard didn't want to be a squad player. He's 35.
  21. Those last 15 league games (plus the Villa shambles at Wembley) are at least as bad as what Hodgson served up. And the shite he comes out with every week is challenging Hodgson for sheer foot-in-mouth fuckwittery. It's not even an aberrant one block of 15 games either. September till December last year (the Villa home game through to the Basle CL exit) was also as bad anything Hodgson served up. Ricky Lambert up front on his own in a must win CL game at Anfield! Those 0-0 draws against dross at Anfield with Ricky Lambert up front on his own. Those 6 CL performances. Playing the reserves in Madrid. That Newcastle away game. Getting turned over by Neil Warnock's Palace. He survived one dreadful few months and then did it again. Teflon Hodgers.
  22. Haven't Spurs got the lowest net spend in the league over the last few seasons while cutting the wage bill down? The team is basically full of kids who aren't that good at the moment (Mason, Dier, Bentaleb, Alli, Davies).
  23. He'd lost the players last season and lost all direction. It's an absolute farce he kept his job and the worm was allowed to sell his own staff down the river, and FSG have thrown good money after bad again with him in the summer. We'd be better off just giving Gary Mac the job, at least until we can find a suitable replacement (just go all out for Klopp and tell him it's his when he wants it). He probably survived a mid-season sacking last year because there was no obvious replacement and you couldn't exactly give Pascoe the job.
