    Subjective though mate! Steve Bruce, and quite a few others would have a go at Rafa for class (they were wrong and a load of crap) - but quite a few Liverpool fans who wanted him gone agreed with them! Not sure why an opinion based on no facts is bollocks! So lets leave Coutinho out then - are you saying there isn't fair few success stories? I think we have improved on that side - maybe not enough. Does it matter about Balotelli? Who bought Bellamy? Pennant? Morientes? Who bought Caroll? Cole? Can we not accept that all managers buy shite? As I said a little bit earlier - our wage bill has double in the last 10 years, so that has to be taken into account if you are going to mention revenue.

    Haha - that doesn't mean anything. Compare the previous 18 years to those after 92! This isn't a defence of the trophy haul. But I couldn't disagree more to say it started under FSG.

    I grew up on league championships mate! As a given. Sorry mate, but not including charity shields or super cups. It started in 92. Compare those years to the previous 20 and then tell me it didn't start in 92. As said, you can't just say FSG since 2010 and ignore the rest, including the state of the club. Our wage bill was about £90m in 2010, it is over £200m now! I'd also add that of those 8 trophies in 18 years, 3 were in the same year! And we were one of the richest, and biggest clubs until 2004 and Abromovich.

    Correlation and causation mate! You seem to be convinced FSG lead to this - they never. This started in 92. You can't throw terms around like 'poorest consecutive league finishes' around without referencing the damage the parasites did on us, and the shift in balance with first Chelsea, then City. Every player from last year - were bought by FSG, so they are doing something right - without excelling. Dele Ali is one player, Gomez, Can, Coutinho, Sturridge out weigh missing out on him surely? They've been cunts on the stadium, and they can fuck off on the incessant merchandising - but, they have given enough money for us to have done a lot better.

    Speculation on my part - but I think we will get VVD. I think we have to be very careful at the moment - after the earlier fuck up.

    I think we won the one we should have lost and lost the one we should have won. We were left with the miracle of Istanbul rather than Athens in 2007. Funny to think that Pennant played in a Champions league final!

    They broke it in the first transfer window they had! Then spent over £100m in the first summer. Last year they broke the their transfer record. They're not City, or Chelsea, United. Our problem has been who we've bought not what we have spent. Two summers we have wasted roughly £200m. They need quality this year - and the signs are that they are looking to add it.

    I get that. But that is not a window of not signing anyone is it? Last year was a good one, good players added - one star!

    There is no way that we will not sign players this season! I really don't see why anybody thinks that? But - potential outlay of £140m is going to affect others! Maybe if we move on from that we can spend a bit of money on two CM's, maybe another left back or a striker! I don't know - but I do know that Klopp wants these two. I want VVD - and if that means a compromise on Robertson then so be it. Didn't see too many Liverpool fans calling for us to sign VVD when he was at Celtic, Robertson is 23 and by all accounts had a good season. Considering the dearth of left full backs, seems a fair option to me. I loved Rafa - but the lad spent millions on stop gaps and then complained when the first choice arrived and there was no money!

    Not new, was Whelan and then left because of posters like Code. And now, I am Code. I'm a bit Dean Gaffney - i'm back, but nobody noticed i'd left!

    Technically Jennifer Lawrence! Michelle Pfeiffer never did, not sure about Cameron Diaz either. Rose Byrne hasn't, and i don't think Jessica Alba hasn't either. According to my mate!

    Apples and Pears there mate! You can't make a club sell - if money isn't an issue then, you are going to struggle. We could buy a Keita from Salzburg - but I imagine the fume here if that happened?

    I was Code this morning. Now i'm Cardie! less than half a day back and I've been reminded why I left in the first place.

    I don't think that is true at all. In fact there is no proof at all for that - just a number of fans stating it. Where I do think they deserve criticism is that their 'model' requires them to be far better at scouting than they are.

    I think our problems are overstated, in fact I'd say in some cases they are exaggerated to make a point. In fact compared to City, and United we have been very good. And Spurs are hardly causing a stir. My confidence comes from the managers ability to choose good players.

    That maybe the reason why they don't make it. But, one year into the project that seems to be their ambition.

    How do you know we haven't? We wanted Keita, we tried hard for Keita - maybe now we have to move on! Fans seem pretty confident that we haven't got any alternatives lined up, or even in mind - I'm not sure where this confidence comes from? We spent all year linked with Brandt and Pulisic and ended up signing Salah!
