Me and the wife paid £30 each to watch this last year at cine world. The movie plus live feed from the premier. Was expecting a fullish house with everyone decked in flares and hooded tops and drugs a plenty...........ended up with only 17 people in including us and one girl I know from the Co op wearing high heels.....

Not sure why the negging. I'm not after another Rafa war. I may not of come across well but what I was trying to say was all this 'we should buy him/he's crap/dogs bollocks' is ascertain what our current 11 is and squad and compared with what we had back then stands up very well. The market has been fucked up by oil money so the price of players and cost is irrelevant. We have an outstanding first 11 as this season has proved but we are now thankfully going on another euro adventure. I'm nearly forty and have been reading this forum since the late nineties so please don't think I'm on a wind up. If buying and moulding youngsters is what direction we intend to go by then paying what people consider extortionate is irrelevant. Europe of late has proven that it's not necessarily the best squad and the most expensive combined, it's the team collective and management that has risen to the top. We can improve on what we have in certain position's it's just getting that balance right.

Not the best at posting teams and stats from the Web but would it be possible for someone to post our teams ( first 11 and subs/squad) from when we were classed as number one in Europe under rata. Basically we are once again at the beginning of a new European adventure and if we did so well last time then based on our first 11 against this one then strength and weaknesses would be apparent and what we need to add.

We go quite a few when the weather is nice and I'm not working Sundays. St Helens Burscough ( you have to pay parking ) The 2 we really do though ( we live in St Helens so this tells a story ) is the one on the east Lancs past Leigh then we come back and go left at the carvery and then left for Warrington and in 5 minutes you are at the one in Warrington which is decent. then jump on the m62 home.
