Hey, fellas. I'm in the States and have just seen that the commissioner of the NFL, whose approximate position in the FA I couldn't reckon, has earned $35 million, or at a guess, 18 million pound. I'm sorry I don't know the rate. The NFL is classified as a non-profit, thus pays no taxes, despite earning in the range of 10 billion US.
I've been a follower of MotoGP, World Superbike, tennis, and I've supported Liverpool since 2005, right after Istanbul (I had no idea about the Champions league, despite playing, ahem, soccer, as a youth). I won't get into why I picked Liverpool unless somebody chooses to ask.
I'm wondering, what's your thoughts on something as huge as the NFL not giving up a dime when fans are paying huge wages? In the US, stadiums are almost always financed by local or state governments. Could we imagine the PL paying less than the fans?
Thanks
