Hey, fellas. I'm in the States and have just seen that the commissioner of the NFL, whose approximate position in the FA I couldn't reckon, has earned $35 million, or at a guess, 18 million pound. I'm sorry I don't know the rate. The NFL is classified as a non-profit, thus pays no taxes, despite earning in the range of 10 billion US. I've been a follower of MotoGP, World Superbike, tennis, and I've supported Liverpool since 2005, right after Istanbul (I had no idea about the Champions league, despite playing, ahem, soccer, as a youth). I won't get into why I picked Liverpool unless somebody chooses to ask. I'm wondering, what's your thoughts on something as huge as the NFL not giving up a dime when fans are paying huge wages? In the US, stadiums are almost always financed by local or state governments. Could we imagine the PL paying less than the fans? Thanks

I live in the States and am in absolute despair. I'm angry every day at the absolute charade it all is. Trust us, the coastal states are generally not imbecilic and understand the major issues of our day, and are on the right side of opinion, but despite that our media and the army of 15,000 lobbyists canvasing Washington, D.C. present an insurmountable barrier to our Congressmen actually listening to us. I'm a public school history teacher, I talk my head off every day trying to undo so much disinformation. Despair is my favorite word for our situation. I'm inches away from giving up on any form of democracy. Money, money, money. Destroy the world for money. Corrupt all freshwater for money. Ravage entire ecosystems for money. Murder millions for money. Ugh
