  1. I can't remember anyone giving us a battering when he was here. We let hull put three in our net two weeks ago, if it wasn't for Ming everton would've hit six the week before that. Clean sheets are proving hard to get. We look a shambles defending set pieces and corners and we've got to go to man city and chelsea in the next two weeks. I admire your optimism though.

Colllymore saying he might be going back to chelsea.

I'd like to see Clark back as well, he help us defend corners/set pieces for a start, not enough good football men at the club.

How the fuck did hull put three in our net? This game is utter shit.

That's how i see it. Gutted Gerrard is injured, he has started to get forward and look his old self the past two games.

I didn't say i did know that, i said ALMOST certainly. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rodgers-believes-time-right-joe-6382019 I'd wager anything that Rodgers dos'nt sell Allen.

We didnt dominate Hulls midfield last week, or Swanseas or Southamptons or a few others.
  8. Wouldn't be surprised at all. The bitter auld cunt got rid of two hot young prospects in paul progba and morrison and spent a fortune on wilfred zaha.

    Joe Allen thread

No one bar the the club knew about Allens shoulder injury when we last played west ham, it was kept secret to protect the player and not give the opposition information about one of our players weaknesses, but you know that really, don't you? Talk of compering him with Diame is madness, Allen will go on and prove himself to be a far superior player. He's also a much better player and better suited to liverpool than Charlie Adam, Christian Poulsen or Joe Cole who were all earning a living out of liverpool football club playing in midfield before Allen arrived. As for the upgrade on Allen, as long as Brendan Rodgers is manager of Liverpool fc Joe Allen will almost certainly stay a liverpool player, which i personally am more than happy with.

  12. He's spoken. Big Ron issues warning to David Moyes " Manchester utd don't have transitional periods, you don't here of Munich or Barcalona having transitional periods." Never get tired of this http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G1o7Fu93L4s

    Joe Allen thread

Maybe he wasn't feeling the affects of his well documented injury today to be brushed aside? http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/mar/18/liverpool-joe-allen-sidelined The opinion of Allen being a bit of a soft touch and easily brushed of the ball is a slightly lazy criticism because of his small frame. He was never easy to shrug off the ball for Swansea or Wales. Allen was superb in the championship when Swansea won promotion and that league is full of imposing, physical players.

    West Ham (Home)

Great results all round today. I hope Gerrard is ok. Looks more like his normal self when allowed to push forward. Can't afford to have him injured now. Wonder what Joe Allen's critics have to say about today's performance? given time this kid will prove himself to be a very good little player for us.

Roy Hodgson, know your role and shut your mouth

The fa think Hodgson's some great english diplomat, when he's like some stupid old middle class idiot you see on holiday shuffling about in sandals and socks moaning about the heat, moaning that the restaurants only serve this foreign food, complaining that the beers shit, moaning the locals can't speak good enough english and wishing that the place wasn't full of brown people.
  17. In defence of moyes over not telling ferdinand if he's in the side, what's the point of telling ferdinand? He'll only forget, like his drugs test. Moyes made a bad mistake in offering all these old players new contracts and coaching jobs, he should've been a better judge of character and realised the lot of them are utter cunts.

    v Norwich (h)

Johnson is another example of our muddled transfer policy. If we were not prepared to get rid during the last window leave it till next summer. Making noise about not paying him his wages and then sending Ian Ayre over barcalona on a futile mission to sign a replacement when we need our current players to stay on the top of their game to finish in the top four this season is not really the smartest of moves.

Roy Hodgson, know your role and shut your mouth

In fairness to the man the half time comedy routine in a crucial world cup qualifier about space suits, nasa and monkeys, to England's new black winger went down well.

There must've been a great book of poems brought out that year to stop "oh gosh it's tosh" from walking away with the booker prize for literature.

A Third of the Season Gone...

Oh I think they'll cast a very firm eye on how everton do, especially if the reports that Martinez was offered the job are true. These people seen to occupy a world of charts, graphs, outlays, incomings, outgoings, bottom lines, and bang for your buck. If Martinez finishes above Rodgers after spending less money they may start getting itchi trigger finger, they've got history for it. Not saying its right but Rodgers position would be weakened.
