Comilli does talk alot of sense of that program, he does seem to know his football. Albeit a few things he says that puts his foot in it but overall he knows his stuff. -

Could you blame him for wanting to go tho mate? He seems settled and his family seem settled, he looks like he genuinely loves the club but his will to win could be a major factor in him wanting out.

Yea I agree mate but if you're playing bad the someone like Suarez is on and your in awe of him at that young age, some would go into a shell. We all know what Luis is like! Imagine 2 or 3 misplaced passes his way he would be on him like a shot. He done it to Sterling a few times earlier on in the season.

He wasn't just disappointing he was terrible, it could have gone either way. He could have stayed on and had his confidence shot to bits, taken off and had his confidence shot to bits through lack of trust. Or taking him off and showing him the harsh reality of professional football, that if you don't perform you don't play. Fortunately he looks to have gotten back on track with the under 21's up until his injury of course.

I know it's been said but we should definitely be in for a Mascarano, Sissoko type player. Not to start every game but to play in games where similar players have dominated us, like Villa when Benteke just bulldozed his way through our midfield. Diame, Mulumbo, Wanyama maybe, we should have at least been in the hunt for Moussa Sissoko. Lucas is a lot better footballer than those mentioned and he'll play better against the better teams because of his tactical, technical and positional play is better, he uses the ball better to but when we need to dig in and power our way through the oppositions midfield, none (with the exception of Gerrard) of our currant midfield seem capable. We're not that far away from challenging for 3rd place, Chelsea have a better starting XI at the moment but they're not a million miles away, it all depends on who they and Man City buy in the summer.

I'm not saying we should sign Williams but it seems to me Rodgers teams are more about players that fit the system more than having the best players. Skrtel and Agger are both twice as good as Williams but maybe Williams will fit the system better therefore improving our defensive frailties. Like I said I'm not advocating that we get him but who else can we realistically sign? Someone who ticks all the boxes and the right price tag.

How bad had Alexis gotten lately by the way, I remember him being described as a cross between Messi and Ronaldo when they signed him. I've seen him miss so many open goals this season.

Despite how good Piqué is, could you really have your CB wearing gloves? Couldn't imagine Puyol wearing gloves. He's only got long sleeves on now because his other top was blood soaked.
