since the "premiership" started, 21 years ago, even tho' i hate the very name, we are only behind the dung, the arse and chelski in terms of points(according to bbc i think) so we have NOT done too bad since our last league title. the dung went 26 years, chelski, 50+ years. arsenal are a bit different, always been up there. man city went 44 years... the dung, chelski and city suffered relegation in between their title wins. we haven't... surely this is NOT failure. as a senior citizen, i have seen us in the old 2nd div, so know what its like, even tho' we always finished 3rd or 4th except for our 1st season after relegation, to play lower teams etc. can remember losing to worcester in the cup... MY worst memory, results wise... i just hope you younger supporters live to see us as successful as i have seen in 55 years.. we WILL be back but for gods sake, try to be a bit more patient. PLEASE.....
