this there's always a team each season that surprises everyone and does well. by the end of the season they're usually just below middle of the table and had a decent year. it's not like bolton havn't been here before - under allardyce. you have to factor in how well he did with burnley and their some of their cup wins as well but does this really qualify him to run liverpool? i think we've seen in roy hodgson really what a difficult and unique job this is, pressure from all directions, this is not a normal football job. when you consider what rafa achieved in his time here, with all this job demands and for 3 years under disasterous owners - he still managed to keep a smile on his face and remain respectful.

roy evans? this is getting scary. i would go with kenny until the end of the season, i don't think he would want it for much longer than that. but if i had my way i'd bring rafa back in, he should never have gone and the difference is plain to see since we brought in the englishman to 'steady the ship'.

how can anyone say that? between a european cup final and our best title challenge in 20 years, how can anyone say that? rafa had one bad season in 6 and he put up with more rubbish than probably any of our managers in recent times.

and which players would have replaced them? the likes of poulsen and konchesky. great move

he actually doesn't know what he's doing. so out of his depth it's unreal what was purslow thinking.

isn't that exactly what roy was doing at fulham? none of them are good enough and it will be the same with any of those. we need a proven winner, at least the level of rafa and i don't know if we can get one of those any time soon but the above managers definitely aren't the required standard
