  1. This is somewhat similar to a quote I have put forward in the bullshit thread. I assumed that what I was told was, literally, bullshit. It may not be so. We shall see.
  2. Just out of interest, did you have a poor estimation of him at one time?
  3. The moderators on .tv stifled any enthusiasm for the petition today. The 'intelligent factions' (cough) over there are all vying for Woy.
  4. That is my counter argument. Not only have Fulham conducted business with Arsenal this week, they have also done so with Standard Liege, I believe, expressing interest in striker Dieumerci Mbokani.
  5. More bullshit here: A transcript of a conversation I am currently having with a reputable source. :whatever:
  6. I've got four television sets working overtime displaying new channels, and I am looking at the stock market online waiting for RBS to make a move. This is unfair; I'm on pins. I'm so excited. I can't wait for this rumble to work its way into an explosion.
  7. I've also started a new thread on this in the General Football Discussion forum on .tv.
  8. I've put a link to this poll in the EST managerial poll thread. It will be picked up and transferred to a sticky thread, or something of the like, over there, I imagine.
  9. Probably the same source that circulated that Rafa Nadal had failed a drugs test at the start of Roland Garros. :whatever:
  10. I'm waiting for something to happen. Friday is getting old.
  11. I'll be happy to assist in any way possible. Touting ideas on forums has a minor impact, the recently released protest single is a step in the right direction, and, as previously touched upon, protest shirts are a suitable means to nurture a little more support. Leafleting before games appears to have had some effect. And I'm not sure if it is possible, I doubt the club would allow us to bypass Hicks & Gillett, but a mosaic on the Kop for the first home game of the season would be a big statement. However, like I said, we would need to have someone very close to the club willing to shaft the Yanks to assist in any such action. The longer we continue on the path that we are, the greater chance that this club will stagnate. The levels of apathy around the club are sometimes frightening.
  12. I've just watched he first fifteen minutes of episode one. The writing is well balanced and the acting is sharp. It bodes well for the remainder of the episode and the series as a whole.
  13. One quote. Which, for all we may know, may have come from a Cockney street vendor on Croydon Road. I see no credence in this piece. Although, I wouldn't care if it was true, either.
  14. I don't understand how Fifa can issue letters pertaining to law suits against traders, to be honest? I mean, what address do they write on the envelope? To the scrawny fucker in Cape Town living in dilapidated shanty with a brown door, no man's land. South Africa. Moreover, unless the military are issuing roadside legal advice and enforcing the legal demands of Fifa, those instructed to pursue these traders are going to wind up with a machete to the back of the head, etcetera.
  15. Sad news. A terrible to start to today's proceedings for Nelson.
  16. WC Premiership top Goalscorer: Torres WC Overall top goal scorer: Messi Highest scoring team: Argentina Top African Team: Ghana Top European Team: Spain Top Concacaf Team: U.S.A Top South American Team: Brazil World cup winner: Brazil
  17. This smells worse than a pair of Wayne Rooney's Y-fronts, allegedly.
  18. It's the audacity more than anything that irks me, to be honest. I also find it peculiar that this thread not only contains the words of a retarded Manchester City supporter, it has also offered a platform for a partially coherent Scum fan to air his opinions on said intellectually challenged Manchester City supporter, whilst polishing our history to a Brasso-finish shine. I don't understand why, a year after registration, NorthernMonkey (The Scum fan) would choose today- the day that the City dolt has chosen to regurgitate his bile for all and sundry here-to try and appear partisan. It's beyond coincidental. 'Is it me, or does the air smell like a god-damn wet dog this time of year?'
  19. 'Man City fan here'. Unless by 'here' you mean at the edge of a ditch waiting to be shot in the back by a pseudo-Trotskyite in a gimp mask I'm uninterested, sorry.
  20. I'm sorry. I do not own an axe. And the metaphor you provide is indecipherable; or maybe I'm too dim for these here parts. As for cows. I see cows in the same light irrespective of where I am in the world: wonderful creatures.
  21. Age: prehistoric Sex: Hermaphrodite Location: The Nihilistic Wasteland
  22. I once started a petition to have Andy Murray castrated. I collected many signatures whilst operating a 'Meals on Wheels' service for the elderly in the Wallasey area. I am yet to receive a reply from someone of authority at Downing Street.
  23. His début had us all salivating. The briefest of substitute appearances had us believing we had signed a messiah. He has had some wonderful games for us. Quite often the criticism of Dirk are unwarranted, I find. Even so, we do need someone/something that resembles a natural winger on the right, in my opinion. Where we can find someone/something that resembles anything natural in that position for free? I only hope if he does depart that we are given enough money to fill the void left by him adequately. I don't see much worth in employing David N'gog as a right winger.
