  1. your way off the mark. he may not have had a good season by his own very high standards but he hasn't been lazy. If anything his continual insistance on playing with injuries to try and help the rest of the shite has been his undoing.
  2. I fail to see why he has to stay because he is all powerful. At this rate of decline we may be in a relegation fight next season. We definitely need a change in background staff anyway, this is the most injury prone and unfit bunch of players I can recall
  3. Premier League Premier League Table - May 9 2010 Pos Team P Pts 1 Chelsea 38 86 2 Manchester United 38 85 3 Arsenal 38 75 4 Tottenham Hotspur 38 70 5 Manchester City 38 67 6 Aston Villa 38 64 7 Liverpool 38 63 8 Everton 38 61 9 Birmingham City 38 50 10 Blackburn Rovers 38 50 11 Stoke City 38 47 12 Fulham 38 46 13 Sunderland 38 44 14 Bolton Wanderers 38 39 15 Wolverhampton Wanderers 38 38 16 Wigan Athletic 38 36 17 West Ham United 38 35 18 Burnley 38 30 19 Hull City 38 30 20 Portsmouth 38 19 Finishing 2, 3 & 4 places above Birmingham, Blackburn & Stoke respectively. Shocking.
  4. Liverpool in seventh could climb to sixth if they win and Aston Villa fail to beat Blackburn Rovers, which could mean one less qualifying round to play in the Europa League next term.
  5. johnyh hypothetical question for you. If we were playing for the title today (or 4th) and you had to pick either lucas or gerrard to play centre mid with masch - who would you pick and explain your reasons
  6. You are wrong. Rafa will be here next season - will be officially announced soon. Get your money on rafa being LFC manager at start of season - I can guarantee it will pay for your summer hols.
  7. Your right, but LFC have been as guilty as anyone in placing 4th place in higher regard than winning a Cup. I hope we really target the domestic cups next season, if Villa and Pompey can get to finals then we should be capable. Its galling that no mark teams like Everton have been to Wembley twice whilst we are still waiting to play there.
