  1. Spot on except for their offside goal. When the ball was played from the free kick, their entire line was offside before their neanderthal flicked it on. That was the call.
  2. Thats the thing, he claims he wants to see progress, but refuses to acknowledge the progress made, and does so in the most snarky way possible.
  3. Fear of injuries due to said excercise prevents us from doing so.
  4. That being said, I don't disagree with your point in the defence. It's pathetic that it's not been sorted after 4 transfer windows.
  5. I think the issue is the begrudging and sarcastic tone with which you do "praise" the good things he's done. You barely use his name without a veiled insult or following it up with some sarcastic remark. We get it. You don't like him. You've been given a platform to voice your opinion. Whether people agree with it or not, shouldn't you at least try to not come across as a... I dunno, xenophobic old fart that hates the German coming in and showing more passion on the touch line than you're used to?
  6. Wasn't there once a tit during Rafa's days that said something along the lines of "We don't need better, just different"? This reeks of that same sentiment. We ended up with an incompetent doorknob.
  7. Yeah. Let's fuck off the only one of our past 4 managers who actually has some pedigree in the modern game.
  8. Sorry man, but most of this is nonsense. He tackled, and scored last night from said tackle. Thats was from pressing high up the pitch which you say goes to bits when he's there. Just outside the oppositions box in fact. Yes he can occasionally made a bad pass but recovers well and often gets the ball back. As for doing fuck all in dangerous positions, I'll consider 4 goals in 7 games a tad better than "fuck all".
  9. There's pros and cons to spending and not. As it stands, we were so close to administration under the cowboys that, for me, the clubs current financial wellbeing actually trumps spending at this point. Unless it deteriorates the quality of the squad, which is arguably not happening with the exception of centre half.
  10. They haven't. They've left it in the club accounts to increase the size of their asset in order to be get maximum value when they sell up.
  11. Yeah. I get that, but I just needed to vent a bit. What he really needs is a Carragher tackle in training.
  12. Fuck him and Barcelona. He's got a fucking contract. Honor it or give up your wages and Fuck off. I hope the club fines him for the weeks he was "unavailable". I find it hilarious that that cunt club had to cancel 2 presentations meant for him and that we stuck to our guns. It sends the message that we are not going to roll over for cunts trying to unsettle or players to get them on the cheap nor little bitches trying to force moves by acting like said little bitches
  13. I've always wanted him here. Glad that they're responding to my mails
  14. I'm all for selling him, if the money is reinvested wisely, not like what happened with the Suarez or Torres money. If he goes and we get Lemar and VVD in, it's an upgrade in terms of the squad even though Lemar isn't as good as him, but has as high potential by all accounts. It's a pity though, as it's a great excuse to not spend money that we had in reserve from prior windows on the midfielder we need this season. Unless they prove us all wrong. Here's hoping.
  15. Even better, we got Mane and 16mil money's for that cunt
  16. More than I've ever wanted anyone ever before.
  17. But Gerrard was already a force of nature at 23, and had very few questions marks around his head. AOC... not so much so.
  18. In essence, he has the same amount of PL goals as one Marouane Fellaini in a similar time period. As an attacker. A forward player. Same as Fellaini.
  19. Unfortunately that's the predicament we're in at the moment. What's really frustrating is that we are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements and yet have one who's on our books who is most definitely not going to get a game for us and who is better that Lovren but are actively looking to sell him with seemingly no thought of a replacement. In fact, I have no faith that if we had to sell Coutinho 2 months back we'd actually have spent that money to better the team in any way.
  20. Agreed, but we're still way to light in his position. Actually in almost every position
  21. Problem being that we already look lighter at center half than both of them
  22. No. As it stands he's best playing where he is now with the way we play. If Sturridge plays they'd occupy the same space due to both players propensity to fall deep. Our only other strikers are unproven at best. If we had a player or played with a player whose job it is to stand on the shoulder of the opposition's defence, then maybe.
